Gray

It's been 3 months since Natsu and gray left. Natsu and Gray decided to go to the place where Igneel had died. A town had sprouted around the area with the place where Igneel had fallen in the middle. The city was only second to magnolia and didn't have a guild defending it. Its name was 'Aksa' named after the city's governor.

As Natsu and Gray approached the city they were stopped at the city gate. "Excuse me, sir, what is your business here?" A guard asked. Gray could see Natsu shift uncomfortably. Gray couldn't blame him. Since Natsu left Fairy Tail, he seems to avoid talking to people other than gray.

3 months of just them two, one could expect that they grew quite close. Most of their arguments were just limited to words, but they grew so close up to the point that gray could read Natsu like a book.

Gray could tell Natsu really didn't want to talk so Gray answered instead. "We are Traveling Wizards who are visiting his fathers grave," Gray explained. The guard seemed to understand and let them pass. "Thanks, Gray," Natsu said. His tone had a trace of sorrow in it but Gray could tell he was happy.

"No problem lets go," Gray said urging him forward. Natsu nodded at Gray and they began to walk to Igneels gravesite. Natsu and gray wandered to where Igneel was killed which just so happened to be in the heart of town. Much to Their surprise, Nothing was built over it. It was just a flat part of the land, no trees, no grass, just ashes.

Natsu was silent. Gray didn't know how to reply. He started to think of ways to make the past Natsu come back. Natsu is usually sad. Only when you say and do the right things will his great big smile appear. Gray thought for a moment, "Let's start a guild" Gray blurted. Natsu looked up at his comrade. "huh?" Natsu was confused. Gray bit his lip "yeah, let's start a guild.... here. In honor of Igneel." Gray said. To be honest, Gray wasn't thinking as he spoke but it got Natsu worked up.

"Yknow what?! We should! Let's do it!" Natsu yelled happily. Gray smiled at Natsu's actions. "let's go talk to the governor." Gray said sticking his hands in his pockets. Natsu sighed "OK let's go right now!" Natsu said looking at gray eagerly.

Natsu and gray then ran off to the governor's office. The building was similar to some sort of church and was huge on the inside. intricate patterns lining the walls. After a long time of waiting, Natsu and Gray finally got to visit the governor. As Gray walked in with Natsu trailing close behind he saw the governor. She had long silver hair with bright red eyes.

Her expression was stern yet kind, and she had a nice smile that would make someone let their guard down. "Hello, what do you need?" she asked kindly. Gray spoke first, "we would like to start a magic guild here..." Gray said stiffly. He didn't really know what to say.

Her face lit up "A wizard guild? That would be splendid! May I ask your names?" She asked politely. "My name is Gray Fullbuster, and my friend here is Natsu Dragneel," Gray responded. She gasped "wait-- you two are-- I've seen you from the grand magic games! Oh... Excuse me. You may call me Diane." Diane said calming herself down. "It would be splendid to have a guild in Aksa!" Diane smiled at Natsu and gray. "and if you don't mind... I would like to join..." She said. Gray and Natsu gasped "what?" Gray said amazed. "I'm a wizard myself... and have always wanted to join a guild. In fact, you two are my idles..." She stood up. "I learned thanks to you two!" she said happily.

"huh?! how old are you?" Natsu asked surprised. "14," she answered. Gray gasped "FOURTEEN!" he screamed. Diane Sighed "yeah, now what should the guild name be? and who is the leader?" She asked ignoring Grays over the top reaction. "Oh and where should it be?" she asked. "the city is quite crowded." She mentioned. "In the heart of town," Natsu said. Diane froze.

"Sorry we can't do it there... any building that we build there burns down. no matter what we do." Diane says sadly. "Oh, I know it won't burn down," Natsu said grinning passionately for the first time in months. Diane looked at him and nodded "Alright then, I'll trust you." She said taking out a sheet of paper. "what about the name? and leader?" She asked again. "I think the leader should be Gray." Natsu Volunteered. "What?! why me?!" Gray said surprised. Natsu shrugged. "I don't wanna," he said punching me playfully. Diane thought for a moment.

"I have an idea! How about a council! You two can do decisions, and ill do paperwork!" She said smiling. They all ended up agreeing to that. "Now the name... What do you guys think?" she asked. Natsu looked down. "Dragon Heart. In honor of Igneel." Diane looked at Natsu questionably and then wrote a few things down. "Right, you two start building! I'll go get this guild creation paper to the magic council!" Diane said sprinting out the door. Gray looked at Natsu. he looked happy. "thanks, Gray." Natsu said. "no problem, now let's start the guild, Dragon heart!"
