Sunlight kissed the skin of
Secrets
Waves wept the wearing of
Promises
Locks unlocked the long lost
Memories
From the cage, she now flees
Tears torn by those empty
hearts
Fake pictures that paled her
face
Remember reality it runs
behind
Look at it or be chased.
Learned leaping to stay
Alert
Was aware and is awake
Ready right now is she
Let new life her make.
Left behind are the things
Unsaid
Left behind are the days
She led
Now here comes the new she
Now please just let her be
