(Jake's POV.
I hope my parents get here soon they are already a half an hour late...
"Are they going to be here soon dear?" Mrs Green asked
"I'm sure they will be here soon" I replied
'bang bang' there was knocking upon the door
"I'll get it dears" Mrs Green said while standing from her chair.
"Hello" she said while opening the door
"Hello ma'am" Mr Ross replied while entering the house
"Good evening Mrs sorry we are so late we lost track of time" Mrs Ross added also walking in
"It is quite alright dears your here now and that's all that matters" Mrs Green replied with a smile
They all sat down with a smile
Mrs Green brought in their food from the kitchen she kept it nice and warm for them.
'ding ding ding'
*Roseanne tapped lightly on her glass*
"Jake and I would like to share something if that would be alright" Roseanne said while standing I whipped my mouth and stood with her
"Mother, father, Mrs Green. I would love to have your blessing to date Roseanne"
Mother and father looked at us and smiled
"Of course dear" mother said
"Way to go son" father said while giving me a thumbs up
"Welcome to the family dear" Mrs Green said
I grabbed her hand and we sat down smiling at each other
Then we had to let go to eat.
Mrs Green sure make some delicious food.
After we ate we had to go because it was so late
I gave Roseanne a goodnight kiss.
When I got home I was so happy that it was official
And that the dinner speech was over with
I'm glad everyone approved
And I could tell Roseanne was glad too.
