The One That Got Away

Chapter 5

Selena POV

We're a month away from having Harley's 3rd birthday, and now Harry, Harley, and I were having breakfast while discussing about his birthday party.
"So Harley, it's almost your birthday"
"Yeah, I twurn this much" Harley smiles, holding up his hand, sticking three fingers up.
"Yeah, your getting to be a big boy" I smiled as he giggles, drinking from his sippy cup.
"So, what do you want to do for you birthday?" I asked, talking as I bite off a piece of my toast as he looks at me with his bright green eyes.
"I want......" he said, thinking as he taps his plastic fork on his Elmo plate, until he finally smiles, looking at me and Harry.
"I want daddy to jress like Robin!" he mispronounces as I gasped, chuckling as I look at Harry with his mouth full of food and widen eyes. I couldn't help but turn my chuckling into laughter as he swallows all the food at once before looking at his son.
"Robin?"
"Yeah!"
"But I don't have a Robin costume, bud" Harry said innocently. Looks like daddy is trying to get away with, I let out a mischievously smirk before speaking.
"Really daddy? I could of swore you were wearing a Robin costume two years ago when we were dating? Matter of fact, I saw your costume in your drawer last night" I innocently gasped, Harley letting out a smile towards Harry, revealing his dimples as he bounces excitedly on his seat. Harry gives me a playful glare as I let out an innocent smile, blowing him a kiss. Harry let's out a chuckle, shaking his head as he looks at his son.
"Alright then buddie, I'll dress as Robin for your birthday"
"YAAY!!!" Harley cheers, jumping off his feet as he giggles happily, running over to Harry before wrapping his little arms around him. Harry smiles, picking his son up, holding him in the air while gently throwing him up and catching him, making the green eyed toddler boy bursts into laughter.
"I love you, daddy!" Harley smiled, laying his hands on Harry's cheeks. Harry smiles, pulling his son into his chest as they both share a hug.
"Thanks daddy" I smirked, receiving a playful scowl from Harry. I mouthed an 'I love you' to him as he mouths one in return.

I feel like it's going to be Halloween all over again.

Harry POV

"After the photoshoots are complete, I will be sending two of my top models, alongside Eleanor, to help do a runaway event for the 'Gucci' clothing line"
"Why not send all of us? We're all on top, were tall" Eleanor jokes, making the whole room chuckle as I smiled, shaking my head.
"Okay everyone, I'll see you tomorrow" I said, everyone standing up from their chairs as they make their way out of the meeting room. I stood up from my chair, sighing of exhaustion as I organize some files in a pile.
"Still organized, I see?"
I jumped as I turned, seeing the same gray eyed female, her arms crossed as she has that smirk on her face. I felt my body tense, my hands wanting to shake but I knew I had to resist. Why am I so nervous around her?!
"So now that were alone, we can finally catch up" she smirked, walking towards me as I take a few steps back, making sure I was as far away from her as possible.
"Marisa, we talked about this. I-I want nothing to do with you!"
"Stop pretending Harry, you know you to. I mean, who could forget all those moments we had when we were together" she told me, laying her hand on my chest and wrapping her other arm around my neck.
"That was the past"
"It could present again if you just let us happen again"
"No, I'm not ruining what I have" I told her, referring to Selena and Harley.
"But you all could have, is really right here. Me" she leans in, pressing her lips over mine, kissing me as I just stood there frozen. I didn't know what to do, I just stood there. But even though I knew it was wrong.....it felt good. I did the unthinkable and slowly started to kiss back, Marisa pulling me closer to her. It's like I needed this type of affection on me, I needed to feel this. I haven't felt this way in years, especially since Selena has been busy lately.
