Niall POV

"Look, even though you threw a bottle of vodka at me and I had to dragged you out of your house by your legs ALMOST kicking me......I forgive you, for sort of, cooperating" I said, talking to my best mate while driving with my eyes on the road.

"Since it's your first day back at work, were going to start this day off with our Starbucks drinks and just work our asses off today! How does that sound, Harry?" I asked, trying to sound enthusiastic for the curly haired boy.

I turn my my head, looking at Harry with his face against the passenger window, taking a slow slurp off the straw from his ice coffee with a ignorant face.

"I say, that sounds like torture when seeing your grandmother's shit in your toilet" he grouches, with his eyes watching the road with no interest whatsoever.

Can you feel the awkwardness in here?

"How about some music? You know to start the day fresh as well" I smiled after clearing my throat, reaching for my radio as I turn it on before Viva La Vida by Coldplay comes on.

"Oh, I love this song!" I smiled, nodding my head to the rhythm.

'I used to rule the world

Seas would rise when I gave the word

Now in the morning I sleep alone

Sweep the streets I used to own'

I smiled to the song, practically almost dancing to it as I look at Harry as he still has that emotionless expression on his face. I turn the volume up to make it seem more exciting as the music bursts throughout my car.

'I used to roll the dice

Feel the fear in my enemy's eyes

Listen as the crowd would sing

"Now the old king is dead! Long live the king!"

One minute I held the key

Next the walls were closed on me

And I discovered that my castles stand

Upon pillars of salt and pillars of sand'

I turned to Harry as he was now staring at the radio with an raised eyebrow, which to me was great. He was actually paying attention.

'I hear Jerusalem bells are ringing

Roman Cavalry choirs are singing

Be my mirror, my sword and shield

My missionaries in a foreign field

For some reason I can't explain

Once you're gone there was never

Never an honest word

But that was when I ruled the world'

"Ruled the world!" I sang along, tapping my hands on the steering wheel, and taking a sip out of my hot coffee.

'It was the wicked and wild wind

Blew down the doors to let me in

Shattered windows and the sound of drums

People couldn't believe what I'd become

Revolutionaries wait

For my head on a silver plate
