Chapter 5

We left to go meet Brooklyn. I was both nervous and excited as I hadn't properly seen her in five years since she moved to Brooklyn (ironic right). I knew Riley was a little nervous as well as she only met Brook once before she moved and didn't know how to feel about an old best friend come back. I was standing on the platform and then I saw her step of the train. I waved her over and hugged her. "Oh I've missed you so much Maya" she exclaimed. "I've missed you too Brooky" I said. "Its good to see you Brooklyn" said Riley. "Likewise" said B, quickly hugging Riley. "We need to go and meet the others. Lucas said they are at Starbucks" I informed. We got to Starbucks where me and B were ordering everyone's drinks. "Hi, can we get 7 hot chocolates please" I said to the cashier. "That'll be £15 please" she replied. B jumped in saying "I'll pay". "Really" I questioned. "Yeah its fine" she replied paying the money.

Smackle's pov

I watched Maya and the other girl go to order so I decided to ask the others who the girl was. Riley said that the girl is called Brooklyn and she was Maya's best friend before she moved away. I saw that they had paid so I thought I would go over to help carry the drinks. "Hi, its Brooklyn right?" I said. "Yh and you're Smackle?" She replied. "Yeah it is. Do you want me to carry some of these?" I questioned. "Yes please. Here take these two." I walked back to the others and gave Farkle his drink. "She seems nice" I said. "She might seem it but inside she is a bitch. She is the one who made Maya as strong as she is now as she was so harsh." Farkle shot back. "OK. I won't get too close, I'll just hang with you." I replied. "How about we go on a date tomorrow night?" He suggested. "Sure thing!" I said excitedly.

Maya's pov

Everyone seems to be getting on alright. Other than Farkle who is trying to avoid Brook. I know why, he hates her because he thinks she's a bitch. That she was so harsh on me that it made me as strong as I am now. But if I was so strong I wouldn't have done what I did. I want to ask Farkle why he did it too. I guess I'll have to wait till tomorrow though. "Let's go to my house, my mum said we could watch movies".

Everyone seemed to be agreeing so we threw away our rubbish and left. I was walking with Lucas holding hands, then behind us was Zay and Riley as well as Farkle and Smackle. Brooklyn was just ahead of us. I unlocked the door and told everyone to make themselves at home. I went to the kitchen and grabbed some snacks. Riley had already put the DVD in as she knew I would want to watch Pitch Perfect. Everyone grabbed some food as well as a blanket and got comfy. When the movie was over everyone started their own conversations Riley, Zay and Brook, Smackle and Farkle leaving me and Lucas. I broke off everyone's conversations to announce we would be going to Little Mix next month. "Dammit, I wish I could stay for that but I'm only here for the night" Brooky exclaimed. "We'll take lots of videos" I replied. My mum came home with dinner, Indian. "Wow, this is amazing" said Zay. "Well duh, that's why my mum got it, for my birthday dinner."

"I'll drop you lot back as I can actually drive" offered Lucas. "No need to show off dude" Farkle replied. I hugged everyone and then they left. I opened the presents from them all. A diary and locket from Smackle, a necklace that says beautiful and a massive Oreo chocolate bar from Zay and a spa day from Lucas.  "Open mine next" B said excitedly. I then opened her present. A book with a bunch of inspirational quotes inside. "Thanks" I said. Then I opened the present from Farkle, he told me to open it last so that's what I did. It was a box. I looked inside and there were pictures of me and all my friends in there. Then me and Brooke went to sleep as she needed to get up early tomorrow morning.

A/N Sorry I haven't updated for ages but I've been dealing with a lot of stuff and had loads of homework to do.
