Upon feeling the unfamiliar sensation on his lips, the boy's eyes immediately fly open, harshly pushing the heavyweight far away from him. At the unsuspected force, Sungjae falls to the ground as his eyes also burst open. Ilhoon looks absolutely livid, his face up in red flames and his eyes a contrasting ice. However, once the boy finally opens his mouth, it's with a tone Sungjae least expects.

"What the fuck was that?" Came the soft, broken mutter. Almost inaudible over the screaming wind.

It sounded quite humorous actually. If Sungjae was in any other situation, or simply just watching on like an interesting movie; he would probably laugh. Despite the harsh meaning of his words, and the equally harsh glare the taller was receiving, the other boy's voice seemed so vulnerable, so un-Ilhoon-like, that Sungjae became quite scared. This was far from the reaction he was sure to receive. What really happened to this boy to make him react like this? Sungjae thinks as he stands and brushes himself off from the stray grass.

"You said you needed a distraction. So, that's what I did." He replies warily, keeping a safe distance from the still glaring boy. It's the calm before the storm, right?

"You're a bastard."

Still, there was absolutely no rage in his voice- no emotion. It wasn't hurt, nor sadness; nothing. The only sense of feeling the boy gave off was one of vulnerability, but ever since Ilhoon came screaming for Sungjae in his shop, wasn't he vulnerable then?

Sungjae frowns at the reaction he is receiving- or lack thereof. He doesn't quite understand what could have caused this, but he is going to find out somehow.

"I know, you've mentioned that before." Sungjae ends up dragging slowly, still unbelievably cautious.

Ilhoon uncontrollably blinks, he's tired, and he still can't quite comprehend what just happened.

Sungjae just kissed me.

Sure, it wasn't even for two seconds,

But he still kissed me.

It was supposed to be a distraction. And my god it was.

The boy is scared. He's angry. But he is mostly confused.

Why didn't I slap him? Hit him? At least shout at him in some way.

Ilhoon's face is still set frozen with his first immediate reaction- anger. But his mind is so numb that he can't even realise that he is literally frozen in his spot. Until, slowly, he just turns around, and walks away from the bewildered boy.

Sungjae shouts after the shorter boy, watching with confusion as he sees the almost lifeless figure walk away from him. Ilhoon, however, is so far gone that he fails to even hear the other boy's relentless shouts for him to come back.

Ilhoon unconsciously walks himself back to his apartment, having absolutely no idea how he ends up at his front door, and still has absolutely no idea what the hell just happened.

"Ilhoon, you were gone for such a long time, I was starting to get worried-"

"Ilhoon?"

"Ilhoon what happened?" Jisu walks up to the lost boy, roughly shaking his shoulders to take him out of whatever trance he was in.

"Jisu!" The startled boy starts, "I'm so sorry I shouted at you like that, I didn't mean to- I guess I was just really pissed and-"

"Ilhoon, seriously. Are you alright in the head? I know you didn't mean it. We've been through this plenty of times before." The girl says incredulously, lightly hitting the taller boy's arm. Which seems to finally snap him into reality.

"Jisu, I- I'm so confused."

The girl just smiles and nods. "Come on babe, I think you need to get some sleep. We will talk about this in the morning, okay?"

...

Hello, I'm back. I'm sorry I took so long to update; I've just been very busy with school work lately. But never mind that, I'm now back in the swing of things and I'm in the middle of writing the next chapter. I should update later tonight if I finish it after dinner.

- I just want to say an amazing congratulations to not only my boys, but us Melodies as well! We just had our 7th win with the Missing You comeback and I'm so proud of them! The album is unbelievably amazing and I love all of the songs in this album.

- I also went through my whole book again and did a big edit. There were so many mistakes that I never noticed before. Hopefully it is all good now!
