chapter fourteen

Cordelias pov:

I woke up and heard silence, ahhh peace, not that common anymore. I walked down the stairs and heard whispers, who's that I thought.

"look Emily you can't let your self be like this you have to be strong" that was ieuans voice I heard.

"ok, but we are telling Cordelia right" then that's Emilys voice, what are they up to.

"of course now go wake Katie up of the couch, I will get Cordelia." Then I heard footsteps so I opened the kitchen door and said.

"morning Ieuan"

"morning babe" he replied then pulled me into a tight hug. Then we went and sat at the table and Katie and Emily came and joined us.

"right, Cordelia and Katie me and Emily have been up all night planning something ok."
Ieuan said and we both nodded.

"first Katie, Emily lives with her mum but has her own flat, her mum said she can only move out if she has Someone with her." He took a breath then carried on "so you two are gonna live together because you need to be protected now you both have got involved in this crap"

Katie began to speak "so I have to live with Emily, move out of my home at eighteen and I have no say about and I am joining a gang, getting a tattoo and have a job. Please say I can still go to school." She said a bit uneasy.

"of course you still go to school we all are" Emily now said. "but you will have to change you look if you are joining a gang" she said.

"what do you mean" Katie said confused.

"well no more glasses or messy buns, baggy clothes and all that crap. I can help you with style but we can go shopping for that later. You are moving in with me today so we need to go and pack our stuff in a bit ok"

"uggh fine" she sighed then mumbled something.

"one more thing no more cowering you need more sas if your in a gang but I will have to help you with that too" Emily said.

"right now you Cordelia" Ieuan said. "because you are now a gang leader people are gonna be hunting you down like no mans business, so gangs know where you live now so u got to live with me in my house. My parents died so I live on my own and it's a house on the same street as Emilys flat so we are all together. I can help you move out no problem but we have to do it today incase the gangs come back" he said seriously.

"ok do I get a say in any of this" I said.

"not really your two most important people in your life have planned it for u, now come on guys we all need to get packing." Was the last thing Ieuan said before we all got up I said goodbye and gave both the girls a big hug. Then they left to pack.

"right where do u wanna start "Ieuan said.

"hold on a sec sit back down"

"why, what's wrong" he said confused.

"I have let you on to my life and secrets full depth now and you couldn't even tell me your parents died"I said half annoyed.

"well I didn't want you to think I was trying to make it about me when your in deep trouble as it is, please let's get on with packing." He said calmer.

"fine but when the time is more settled I expect to hear about your past."

"that's fine now come on babe let's get packing" and with that he got up and carried a squealing me to the lounge bridal style.

"let's start " I said.

Emilys pov:

Me and Katie were walking to her house when she asked me.

"what will my life be from now I have gone from nothing and being a nerd to being friends and living with Populars and being in a gang" Katie said with made me think.

"to be fair I am not sure we gotta go with the flow really, but Ellis is probably Coming over later to help me pack and you dare spill anything to him, his life will be in danger too" I said seriously.

"ok don't tell a Soul my lips r sealed" after she aid that we both busy out in laughter.

"Emily who's that following us"Katie said I immediately stopped laughing and looked over my shoulder slowly.

"I don't know but just walk a bit faster to your house and I will follow you" I said .

I didn't plan on this but Ieuan have me a gun and I put on the inside of my leather jacket just incase something like this happened.

Katie was quite a bit a head now and God she could be quick when she wanted, well I suppose that's good now she in a gang.

The guy was getting closer to me by the minute until I started running and I caught up with Katie and started to drag her with me. She led the way to her house then. I pulled her away.

"what the heck r u doing " she said.

"do u want some random stranger knowing where you parents live" I said half put of breath from running.

" I guess not" not she said clearly tired too.

He was now running to and we couldn't make who this guy was so we carried on until he grabbed my shoulder and said

"what the hell, why have you Been running from me babe" it was Ellis thank lord we had stopped running by now.

"just a little game lol"
I said whilst chuckling. I bugged katies run and she laughed too. I am just glad I didn't pull my gun out.

"How'd you find us any way" I said.

" in was on my way to vist Ieuan then I saw u with her"he said pointing at Katie.

"Ieuan is with Cordelia so best not disturb them. I will explain about her later promise buy I need help packing so does Katie. You gonna help" I said and he nodded. Then said.

"no wonder he hasn't answered his calls" he said with a laugh.

"well they have been very busy" I said.

Then we all walked to katies house to start the packing.
