《Olive's Pov》
I returned to my room and slammed the doors shut i started crying uncontrollably. I knew that there was no chance of him liking me back i knew it long ago but i never had the courage to accept it but seeing how happy he was with Emma made me realise we were only just friends. I heard a light knock on my door and quickly wipe away my tears and mess up my hair to make it look like i just woke up.
"Olive! Please meet me after dinner tonight." Miss peregrine said to me when i opened my doors than she left.
I heard her knocking on Enoch's door telling him to meet her after dinner. Why would miss peregrine need to see me and Enoch i wondered.
I remembered that i had dinner duty with Emma and Fiona today so i went to the kitchen not wanted to be late even though i was always the first one to start preparing.
I already started cooking by the time Emma and Fiona came down and all that is left for them to do is serve the food. I always leave them the easiest job knowing that they had a tiring day. They were not surprised that i did most of the work, i always did even though they told me plenty of times to let them do the work.

"Olive you really don't have to do almost everything for us" Emma exclaimed.
"Yes Olive you'll make us feel guilty!" Fiona said.
"It's okay besides you can help serve the food." I told them like it was my job.
Everyone gathered at the dining table staving after a whole day of fun. Hugh's face and Millard's clothes were stained with mud while bits of sweat were forming at Claire's forehead. When dinner was served, everyone started pushing food into their mouth which made Fiona giggle they only started to compliment the food after they were starved.
"This is so good!" Claire looked at me and said. Everyone agreed with smiling faces which earned a larger smile from me.
After dinner, i waited for the younger childrens to clear the room before talking to miss peregrine with Emma and Enoch. I could not focus on her words while looking at them standing so close together.
"Tomorrow a new peculiar would be visiting his name is jake and his abe's grandson." Hearing miss peregrine say abe's name, Emma started to smile Enoch seem to notice her smile and frowned.
"He does not know he is a peculiar yet so i hope you would not tell him anything or scare him away" miss peregrine glared at Enoch.
"Please taķe good care of him." miss peregrine smiled and left the room leaving us three together awkwardly.
Me and Emma went to help Fiona wash the dishes and started chatting.
"So do you miss abe?" I asked her quietly making sure Fiona was not able to hear us. She smiled and blushed. It kinda made me glad knowing that she like abe and not..Enoch.

《Emma's Pov》
When Olive and I were washing the dishes she asked me if i missed abe. Of course i did. She knew that clearer than anybody she was there with me when i was crying my heart out after abe left years ago but i still answered anyway because i knew she wanted to hear my reply so she was very sure that i had no feelings for Enoch. I knew she had a huge crush on him since forever and i assured her that i fid not like him. I know Olive believe me but she was just afraid and why wouldn't she? She love him so much. I hugged her tigtly and said to her in my most assuring voice.
"Don't worry Olive. I don't like him." I said slowly. She smiled.
"I know i believe you."
