Chapter 25

Lin's POV

I open my eyes to see Damien stroking my hair while looking at me all dreamy. I smiled at him and greeted him, "Good Morning, my love." He smiled back and said, "Good Morning, beautiful." I faced him and hugged him tenderly. "Can we just spend the whole day in our bed just sleeping?" I asked "Unfortunately, no." He said, chuckling. "Why so? It's Saturday!" I said burying my face in his chest.

"Yes, it is Saturday but we have a date today, remember?" He said, raising his eyebrow while smiling. Really? I don't recall a scheduled date today, well. As long as I got to spend the day with him, everything's good. "Okay! What time should I get ready?" "3 pm, my darling." He said, kissing me on the cheek. Wow. He's so lovely today. I've been bombarded with hugs and kisses. I love it.

I looked at my phone and it's 10 am. I've got a lot of time to get ready but in the mean time I have the perfect idea. "Stand up." I instructed. We stood up from our bed and I quickly connected my phone to the bluetooth speaker. Playing 'From this Moment on by Shania Twain' "what's up?" He asked. "I'm teaching you, today, how to dance." He looked at me for a moment then agreed.

"Teach me gracefully, my master." He said, stepping closer to me. He gave out quick exhales and wiggled his hips. "Just calm down, this won't be too much work" I said as I grabbed his left hand with my right hand and placed his right hand on my waist, as I put my left hand on his shoulder.

"Just follow me" i whispered. We started swaying through the song. A few giggles would come out when Damien would mistakenly step on my foot. He would repeatedly say sorry, and I would always say that "it's okay" we would occassionally make silly faces and just laugh. "One more time." I said, in a serious tone.

In the middle of the song he almost got the hang of it. For more dramatic effect he would twirl me and catch me in his arms. He's actually pretty good for a beginner. I'm impressed.

He twirled me back around and reunited our foreheads. I smiled at his gesture. This song is my message for Damien. I started singing along to the song while we kept swaying to it. I locked my arms around his neck while he rested his hands on my waist.

"You're the reason I believe in love,
and you're the answer to my prayers from up above. All we need is just the two of us. My dreams came true because of you. From this moment, as long as I live, I will love you. I promise you this." I sang along.

"There is nothing I wouldn't give, from this moment...
I will love you as long as I live, from this moment on, ooh." He sang along as well. I looked directly into his eyes and I swear I was trapped in it for a while. I smiled at him. He leaned in and locked our lips as the song started to fade.

What he didn't know is that that song is a hint, a hint that might end up with me walking down the aisle while he's standing on the end and watching me, probably crying, but oh well...

Once the song changed to something more lively, we parted from the kiss and I gave him a huge hug and told him, "I thought you were worst, I was wrong." "Thank you, my lady. I learned from the best" he said winking at me. Heat is what I felt crawling up my cheeks and that's when I knew that I was blushing again.
