'#4 Edelweiss symbolising courage and devotion'
Courage. That's exactly what she needed. Courage for herself but she had practised the dance ten thousand times and her moves were still as sloppy as ever. She took a break like Felix had suggested two days prior but that didn't work instead she felt as though she was slacking.
"Gosh! Prim! Are you even trying? From the top!" Her dance teacher shouted. Primrose bit her lip in frustration as she ran a hand through her hair and began the choreography again. When she finished, she turned to face the man who gestured for her to redo it. After restarting the dance over twenty times, Prim stopped despite her dance teacher's screams. She couldn't go on. It hurt too much.
"Hwang Primrose! I said from the top!"
"No," she muttered under her breath.
"What was that?" His tone was full of warning but Prim couldn't care less. She was going to get her point across whether he liked it or not. It was just the way she functioned.
"I said no," she practically shouted, surprising the man.
"How dare you be so rude to someone on a higher level than you let alone older!"
"And how dare you be so oblivious to my pleads for rest? I've been up here for five hours, practising my dancing non-stop! I even gave up acting for this! If this is how it is being a K-pop idol then forget it! I don't want to be an idol anymore! I just want to go back to my old life!"
"Wow," he huffed in disbelief. "Just wow. You're the first trainee to ever give up after one month. Go. Just leave. I've been wasting way too much time on such an ungrateful girl like you! But I guess it's better off like this rather than you giving up after debuting." Prim narrowed her eyes at him.
"What the actual heck is wrong with you? Aren't you supposed to be encouraging? Thoughtful? Empathetic? Do you have any idea how hard it is to be positive when your own dance instructor isn't? I tried! I tried so hard! To the point where I couldn't go on anymore and you know what you did? You just stood there and shouted at me for not being good enough! So that's why I gave up! That's why I couldn't anymore!"
"Don't blame me for your laziness-"
"Says the one who only watches me dance and picks out my flaws!"
"I was once in your shoes."
"THEN SHOULD KNOW HOW FRICKIN' TIRESOME THIS IS!" Once Prim heard her voice echo around the room, she was pretty sure other trainees could hear.
"Did you just shout at me?" he asked through gritted teeth. "HOW DARE A TRAINEE BE SO VAIN? THIS IS WHY I'M ALWAYS SKEPTIC WHEN FOREIGNERS ENTER THE ENTERTAINMENT! ALL OF YOU ARE DISRESPECTFUL BRATS!"
"I respect my elders only when they respect me back! Until then, I guess I'll be a disrespectful brat...but just remember, I'm only one to you." With that, she picked up her belongings from the bench and left the room. Slamming the door shut before noticing the bunch of red flowers on the floor. Out of anger, she purposely stomped on them before heading to a nearby vending machine to get some water.
However, she bumped into the last person she wanted to see who was simply smirking at her.
"What do you want, idiot?" She spat out, catching him by surprise and wiping the smirk right off his face.
"Well that wasn't very nice," he responded before inserting a couple of coins into the machine and typing in a number. "I heard your dance instructor and you fighting and may I just say, you are one brave girl." Changbin picked up the two water bottles from the vending machine, passing one to the girl. She happily accepted it, gulping down half of it almost instantly.
"Thanks. It was a skill everyone had to learn at my previous school. Otherwise, you'd just be trampled over."
"So, what are you going to do about this whole situation? I mean you must know by now that Han Yoojin (the dance instructor) holds grudges."
"I do, and I don't care. You know why? Because soon I'll be leaving this place." Immediately, he spat out all the water in his mouth on her.
"What? You can't leave!"
"And why's that?"
"Are you really giving up on your dream?"
"The dream became stale. In fact, it's more like a nightmare now so what's the point?"
"The point is, all of this is temporary. It'll all end if you put in enough effort! Giving up is never any good and besides, you've only been here for a month. Think of Chris. He's been a trainee for seven years!"
"That's because he's strong and I'm weak."
"No, that's because he has perseverance. You're very persistent, that's one thing I've learnt about you. So why aren't you the same when it comes to this?"
"It's just really hard-"
"It's hard for all of us. We all just don't want to give up. There's still hope for all of us, so we hold on to the chance that one day we'll actually debut. Think of the future instead of the present. Doing so might even save your life." Immediately, she remembered the flowers and a wave of guilt rush through her.
"I have to go," she quickly excused herself before sprinting to the dance studio, only to see another bunch of flowers and a note. "Dang it!" She cursed herself, crouching to look at the flowers. Biting her bottom lip, she picked up the note, sighing deeply.
'I know the past few days have been hard for you and that's why I decided to give you these flowers not only to confess my love but also to give you hope. I'm a trainee here as well and I totally understand how you feel but getting frustrated isn't going to help. Not saying you should pretend your fine but I mean, at least talk to one of us eight. The time you've been here will pass my like seconds so have faith. Also, if you no longer want me to send you these flowers, please write in the space provided below and I'm so sorry for wasting your time and angering you.

She pulled out a pen from her bag and scribbled in her answer before picking up the new, white-petal flower.
'#6 Chamomile symbolising patience' She smiled as the tag, gently picking up the squashed red flowers. '#5 Red Carnation symbolising admiration.'
She felt incredibly bad for her actions and would go back in time if she could but that's just not how life worked. What killed her the most though, was knowing that it was one of the eight boy trainees at school. But who?
