Poppy sat in the small cafe, waiting for kayden, she hummed and swung her legs back and forth. She was glad she was only 4'10. She smiled when kayden walked into the cafe, he'd texted her to meet him, saying they needed to talk, she didn't think much of it, he sat down and smiled awkwardly at her.

"Hey kay"

"Hey poppy."

She smiled and went to hold his hand, but he pulled away, she frowned and looked down

"Poppy, I hate to do this, but I was feeling so guilty.."

"What's wrong Kay?"

"I cheated on you. I'm sorry. But I'm breaking up with you too."

She looked at him and the anger overwhelmed her, she threw her milkshake off his face and stormed out of the cafe, she ran down the street sobbing, she couldn't stop, she just felt like dying.

She tripped over some gravel and cut her knees, she didn't care, she just scrambled to her feet and kept running until she was at her apartment building, she ran up the 15 flights of stairs, and ran down the hallway, she soon came to a stop at her apartment and raked through her bag, not being able to find her keys

" No, no, where are they."

She choked out and sobbed quietly

"Oh, Poppy, you forgot your keys."

She turned around at Luke smiling as he twirled her keys in his hands, his smile dropped and his eyes raked up and down her muddy, bloody body.

"What the fuck happened poppy?"

He walked towards her and grabbed her chin gently, examining her

He turned and unlocked her door, he invited himself in and grabbed her hand

"Lets get you cleaned up"

Poppy looked up at Luke nodded, she could tell he was around 6'3, he was like a giant

She walked over to the bathroom with him and gasped as she ran in front of the door , not wanting him to see her hello kitty bathroom.

"What's wrong baby?"

"Nothing.."

He sighed and picked her up, opening the bathroom door, she went bright pink and shoved her head into the crook of his neck

"Absolutely adorable.."

He muttered as he sat her down on the bench, she watched him as he grabbed the first aid box from the side and opened it, he grabbed a antibacterial wipe and wiped her cuts, she whined and pouted, Luke chuckled and grabbed some plasters

"disney or hello kitty?"

"Hello kitty please."

He smiled and put hello kitty plaster on her knees, he looked at her and wiped her tears away

"What happened?"

"He cheated on me, then broke up with me.."

She looked down and sniffled

"Who?"

"Kayden."

"Where does he live?"

"Luke, please don't do anything. He's much bigger than you. I don't want you to get hurt."

Luke sighed and nodded, he placed his hand on her thigh and looked at her

She smiled softly, Luke chuckled and leaned down, gently kissing her, she gasped and melted into the kiss, seconds later Luke pulled away and walked away quickly, leaving poppy confused and sad.
