Poppy woke up the next day, she sat up and groaned

"shit."

She looked over at Jason and sighed, she stood up and shoved her top on, she grabbed her shoes and left the room, she walked out of the apartment to her own, her door was open

She slowly walked towards it and opened the door more

"Hello?"

She walked further in and shut her door, she put her shoes down and looked around

"Where have you been?"

She gasped and looked to the bathroom door

"Luke. I thought you said you weren't going to come back?"

"I asked where you've been. Poppy."

"I went to James, got high, and made out with someone, who's actually not a prick."

"I could fucking tell by the hickeys on your neck."

"Why are you here Luke?"

"Im sorry, I overreacted yesterday"

She sighed and looked at him

"I don't think we should be friends anymore. I'm about to start college, I need to focus, I don't need things, and you distracting me."

"Are you serious?"

"Yes, I am, I think it's best if you'd leave."

Luke sighed and turned, leaving Poppys apartment

She sat down and sighed

"Who was that?"

She looked up to see Jason

"Just someone."

"He seemed upset."

She shrugged and played with the hem of her skirt, Jason sat next to her

"What happened baby?"

"We always argue, and I don't know if we had something going on, but I told him we couldn't be friends because I didn't want him to distract me when I go to college.."

"Ah right, what about Me? Won't I be a distraction?"

She looked up at him

"I hope not. I like you."

He smiled and kissed her gently, she kissed back

He pulled away

"When do you start college?"

"2 weeks."

He nodded and smiled

"You excited?"

She nodded and giggled

"In moving in with James, so I can always be there for you, okay?"

She nodded and hugged him, sitting contently
