S I X T E E N

The next day poppy regretted everything, even if she couldn't remember it.

She sat up and whimpered as her head pounded, she put her head back down on the pillow and sighed, she looked at the time

"Shit. I'm so late."

She stood up and brushed her teeth and hair, she shoved on some joggers and a hoodie as she grabbed her bag and left the apartment

She walked out and made her way to college

Once she arrived she walked into the building, she looked down the hallways and groaned as she dragged herself to class, she opened the door and went to her seat

"Sorry I'm late."

"Stay behind at the end please, thank you."

She sighed and opened her book, someone tapped her back

She turned and looked at the boy

" Hey, rough Night?"

She nodded and sighed

"Yup."

He chuckled slightly

"We should hang out?"

She nodded

"Okay"

He smiled as she turned around and carried on working

Once class finished everyone left, except poppy, she slumped back in her seat as she looked at Luke

"Why where you late?"

"I slept in."

"Where you drinking last Night?"

"Yes."

"Why? You aren't like that poppy."

"i don't wanna talk about it."

"Please. I'm always here for you poppy, you can tell me anything."

She looked down and sighed

"Jason cheated on me."

"That prick. Do you want me to kill him?"

"No Luke, please dont"

He smiled and looked at her

"Im sorry."

"It's fine, I'll get over him."

"No. I'm sorry for leaving, I didn't want to hurt You, I love you poppy. I really fucking love you. And it's hard for me to tell You, because I know you hate me. But I need one more chance. I can make it up to You, please?"

She looked up at him and smiled slightly

"Okay, one more chance."

He smiled and pulled her to her feet, hugging her tightly, she giggled and hugged him back
