Ignis x Reader

{Y/N POV}

I sat in the passenger seat, since Prompto insisted that he would sit in the back today. I looked out to the side, watching the passing scenery and the daylight of the creatures that roamed the land at this time.

After a while of sitting, I got bored, and looked to the royal advisor next to me in the driver seat, focusing on the road ever so carefully. I sigh softly and look at the scenery again. My (h/l) (h/c) blew with the breeze as it always does since the guys love to ride around Lucis with the top down, which doesn't bother me. What bothers me, is that they do it ALL THE TIME. The only time the top is up, is when it's raining, so I cherish those moments.

"Is something the matter?" I heard a voice snap me out of my thoughts and I look to the advisor himself. I smil and shake my head, responding to his worried question, "Nothing, Iggy." He lets out a small sigh and keeps his gaze on the road. I checked the time. '19pm..'

"We should pull over and camp for the night." I suggest. Prompto agrees in the back seat. Ignis then says, "Alright, camping it is." That woke the Royal prince sleeping his life away in the back seat. "Why can't we have a hotel for once?" Noctis whined.

Gladiolus shot a look towards Noctis and asks, "Got a problem about the outdoors?" Noctis shook his head and states, "No... But we camped last night too, I think we can rest for the first time in a hotel, don't you think?" Everyone look to the mother of the group and notices everyone looking at him, and he lets out a sigh.

"We are nearing Old Lestallum. We can make haste there." Prompto and Noctis jump out of their seats in excitement that they can finally sleep in some fluffy beds. I laugh at their childish state and hear Ignis ask, "Would you mind helping me look at ingredients tonight, Y/N?" I look at Ignis and smiled, nodding. Honestly, I loved the guy. Who wouldn't? He is so caring and he also is good-looking, with some perks of his own. And he always makes sure something is okay with someone feeling down, he is like a momma, just a tad bit sweeter.

-SHORT TIME SKIP-

Prompto and Noctis were the first out when we reached Old Lestallum. They acted like actual children who just reached a carnival.

Ignis walks up, paying for the rooms, and we all head up to the room we bought. Gladio got Noctis' and his stuff, while the rest got their own stuff. I sigh when Noct wouldn't carry his own stuff.

I set my bags on the floor, and Prompto immediately called the bed. I roll my eyes and laughed lightly. Noctis called the other bed, and Gladio set his stuff on the couch, claiming the bed. I sigh, knowing the floor was the only option for Ignis and I.

I heard Ignis sign as well, and he states, "How come you all could pick, leaving a lady standing?" He was referring to me, since I was the only girl and I wave my hand softly, "It's fine Iggy." He looks at me and gives me that 'are you sure' look. I nod and smile.

He nods and we both set up, before heading out since I said I'd help him out.

We exit and chatted while walking up to the cart with all the ingredients and potions. I smiled as Ignis and I reviewed the day. A small gust of wind lifted my (h/l) (h/c) hair up and flow with the wind. I laugh a bit, when it messes up Iggy's hair a smidge.

After we get the stuff, we decide to get something to drink on. We enter the Crows Nest, and we ordered two jettys. While waiting, Ignis said something that kinda surprised me, "I sincerely enjoy your company, Y/N." I smile and say the same to him.

We retrieve our drinks, Ignis paying, and we exit. I exit the Restaraunt first, Ignis close behind. Before we entered the motel, my wrist was caught, and I looked back at Iggy. "Can we...do more nights like this, Y/N?" I smiled and nodded.

He then pulls me in for an unexpected hug, and I immediately hug back. I smiled as he kisses my forehead shyly, causing me to blush the tiniest bit. Ignis chuckles and asks, obviously nervous, "Y/N, I was wondering if... You could be my beloved..?"

A wave of heat washed over me as if I was drowing in my own blush, and my cheeks alone could put tomatoes to shame. I smiled and exclaimed happily, "Yes!" He smiled, relieved I said yes, and we hugged each other in a comforting embrace for minutes on end.

-WITH THE OTHERS-

"What's taking them so longggg?" Prompto whines, starving half to death.

"Goddammit we need food! And those two are the only ones who know how to DECENTLY cook!" Noctis groaned and slouched in the chair, wanting Y/N and Ignis to show up.

"This is going to be a long night..." Gladio mumbles with a sigh while reading his book so he doesn't get angry and snap the whining children in two.
