You were at Old Lestallum. You were a hunter- a good one too. Around top 5. You tend to be...stubborn for a top 5 Hunter. Whenever the chief Hunter request your presence, you don't tend to show up. You are too stubborn to deal with him. But one day, when he needed you, he decided to come to you instead of requesting for you. You were ordered to help the prince and his pals. It disappointed you because now you have to deal with Noctis Lucis Caelum, Prompto Argentum, Ignis Stupeo Scientia, and Gladiolus Amicitia. Though the chief granted you to do the job for a reward which he wouldn't tell you on what it was, you still didn't want to handle all the guys since they'd soon become annoying or bombard you with many questions.

You look around to find the car you were looking for. The nice and shiny Regalia. You walk up to the car to examine it, looking at the velvet interior, the deep purple and grey paint on the car with Lucian swirls. The car was truly beautiful.

"Pretty, isn't she?" A deep, raspy voice boomed behind you. When you look around, you saw who you known as, Gladiolus Amicitia. You sigh before asking as politely as you could, knowing your words would still come out cold, "Where's the others?"

Gladio's thumb shot back at the Crows Nest. "They're eating, and partially watching through the window." You cross your arms as your eyebrows slightly furrow. "You watched me walk up to 'His Highness'' car and decided to come and interact?" Gladiolus gave a chuckle and a big truthful smile.

You groan, your head shooting back and your eyes shut tightly. Gladiolus became concerned, about to ask what's wrong, only to hear you say, "I shouldn't have taken this job... I could've just done a hunt instead."

He seemed to chuckle again, crossing his arms and inquiring, "So, you must be (Y/N) (L/N)." You sigh and nod, having your head fall back down but your eyes stayed shut. "Well come on. We are eating you might as well eat too."

You nod slightly, remaining silent as you walk with Gladiolus into the Crows Nest. You sat next to the Strategist, or known to be Ignis Stupeo Scientia. "This must be (Y/N) (L/N). I suspected it'd be you." You're eyebrows unfurrow, only a little. You order some Kenny's "Special" Samon and a jetty. You eat as the three simply talk about you, you making your mind as blank as possible.

As soon as you finished eating you got up. The guys were done already and got out of the booth the five of you sat at. You walk out to the Regalia as Ignis instructs, "If you don't mind, you're going to sit in between Noct and Gladio." You let out a sigh and respond, "Whatever..." And hopped into the middle in the back seat. Gladio got in on your left and the known prince, Noctis Lucis Caelum, got in on your right. Ignis sat in the driver seat as the gunman, Prompto Argentum, got into the passanger.

"Okay okay!" Prompto started. The car got onto the road and Ignis started to drive down the partially carless roads. "Is it okay if I can take pictures of you? As a memory?" Your (e/c) eyes shot at the blond, glaring as you state firmly, "Take any pictures of me your camera will be broken. I won't pay for any repairs." Prompto had chills of fear, as he meekly apologies and sits down in his seat, playing with his so-called baby.

Noctis was fast asleep and you cross your arms over your hunters vest in annoyance. You were only in this for the reward, not the guys.

You were gradually getting cramped, being in the middle of the shield and sleeping beauty. You decide to sit on the back, feet on the seat. You look around at your surroundings and seemed to have smiled when you saw the sight.

You drove through Lestallum, watching people go by, kids playing around as if they were fighting with guns, greatswords, and swords. Life couldn't be better there. Well, their life. Not yours. You look down at your lap, your (h/c) hair flowing in the wind of the sunset sky. "(Y/N)," a voice broke you out of your small world. "Do you mind if we make haste at a haven?" You shook your head and respond, "Campings okay with me. It won't kill me."

Gladiolus chuckles as he asked, "Mind waking the princess up?" You shake your head, softly kicking the prince as you hop down to your seat. "Hey, sleeping beauty. Gotta get camp set up." Prompto groaned in the passanger seat, before you asked, "Camping a problem, blondie?" "You always ask that Gladio... That's mean..." Gladiolus gave out a slight laugh, before Ignis informs, "Prompto... That was (Y/N)." Prompto's crystal blue orbs filled with worry since he didn't have any knowledge of what you could do.

Prompto started to apologize, causing you to laugh at the childish behavior of the blond. You were slowly growing fond of the group. Though Prompto and Noctis were annoying kids, you tend to like Gladiolus and Ignis more since they have matured more.

Ignis slowly pulls to a stop, somewhere in the Cleigne region and close to the Leide border. Noctis finally woke up once you threatened to feed his phone to a Giantoad. You chuckle in victory before sliding out of the car. You grabbed the tent, a couple of chairs, and some of Ignis' cooking stuff. Gladiolus' eyebrow perked as he asked, "Need some help? That's quite a lot. Have Prompto or Noct carry the tent." You simply respond with, "I'm fine. Thanks for the request though."

Once you all got to the campsite and set everything up, Ignis started to cook his infamous meals. Prompto went on and on about how great Iggy's cooking was, and it kinda got you intrigued when the other two started to do the same, making the Strategist embarrassed and delighted that others enjoy his cooking.

Once his cooking was finished, you scooped up plates for the others, just to help out with the group since you'll be with them for a month.

One bite, you realized how the others were telling the truth. Your eyes shot open as you started to eat the food as if you hadn't eaten in days. When you finished, you gladly took seconds.

You thanked Ignis for the meal, and talked with the guys, realizing they aren't half as bad as you thought they were. Honestly, when the time came to leave, you realized you weren't leaving at all. Instead, the reward was to stay with the guys and help them out. You wouldn't be a Kingsglaive, still a hunter, but you would just remain with the prince and his crownsguard.

One day, around two months later, you sat on a rock near a pond in the Cleigne region. You were camping early and decided to go on a walk and admire the sights and animals.

You heard footsteps behind you to see the big brunette you first talked to out of the four. You smile and wave. "Hey Gladio." You greet and offer a seat next to you. He accepts it, sitting besides you in a kind manner. You look at Gladiolus and he asks, "Is it okay if I could confess something to you? If it won't ruin anything." You smile and nod. When he wouldn't respond, you grew impatient.

"Gladio. What's with the hold up?" Gladiolus chuckles and states, "Nervous. Never heard of it?" You roll your eyes as suddenly you felt a pair of lips on yours. Frozen in shock, you realize it was Gladio, kissing you. When he pulled away, he apologized. Right as Gladiolus looked away, you grabbed his leather jacket, pulling him in and returning the kiss he gave you. It was passionate and loving... Until a flash and a click sound was heard.

You look back and see Prompto, nervously holding his camera. You got up and walked over to the boy who was frozen in fear. You slip the camera out of his hands, examining the picture and you smile, handing it back.

"Print a copy for me, okay?"
