I know it's controversial,
It's not at all constitutional,
I can see it in your eyes,
I'm caught up in all the lies,
You're your own enemy,
And you can't seem to find a remedy.
I'm perfectly fine,
Most of the time,
With my darkness inside,
But you wither and die.
You've tried it before,
You've fallen to the floor,
You tried to be nonexistent,
But your body is way too resistant,
You had it around your neck so you wouldn't breathe,
And now I can't help but seethe,
because I was supposed to be there,
Because I was supposed to be there.
Those emotions we share,
Those burdens were supposed to be traded,
Not left buried and faded.
I care for you way too much for my own good,
You're the one who lifts my mood,
But even so you almost died,
My eyes shined,
Tears fell from my eyes,
You say that you're okay everyday but I can see that they're lies,
Otherwise you never would have tried to die,
I care and so I smile all the time,
I'm lucky because I'm strong inside,
but I just can't understand,
I'd give it all for a chance,
To know,
Why?
