Zoulues POV
I sat up and looked at the tall figure that stood in my room. Who ever it was they were just staring at me. Then I realized that is was Skylar he didn't say anything all he said was mine I was so confused.

Skylars POV 😄😄
It was my birthday today and right now I'm at my party everyone was here we were all dancing drinking and there were a few people grinding on each other. I looked at the clock and realized that only 5 more minutes until I find out who my mate is, I already know I'm going to accept her no matter who she is. When those 5 minutes were up I got the smell of chocolate and rain forest. It was delicious. I followed the smell fast excited that I was going to meet my mate.

When I got to the room she was in I looked at the door and realized it wasn't even a real room just a big closet I then realized that this was the room of Zoulue. I was Wondering why my mate is with him, but I don't care I went into the room and saw only one person in the room sleeping in it was Zoulue he noticed I was i was in the room and stared at me I know he can't tell I'm his mate because he is only 17. One word came out of my mouth.

"Mine." he looked at me confused, my wolf spirit was jumping around in my head excited he kept saying how beautiful our mate was. But I looked at Zoulue and said "I'm not rejecting you but I'm also not accepting you, I need time to think" before I left his room I saw his heartbreaking face it made my heart shatter, as I was going to shut the door I heard him let out a sob. God dang it, now I feel bad for saying that and leaving. But I need to talk to my father to even ask if I did accept him, if it would be OK for to make the rule as alphas.

Zoulues POV
I sat there crying my heart out when my mate left. The pain felt worse with the beatings I get from his friends. I already know that he is going to reject me its not that hard to tell, who would want a worthless fag as a mate anyways. As I sat there crying he was probably over there flirting with the girls from our school, that made the pain even worse.

The pain was unbearable I ended up passing out. I went down stairs to leave but I didn't see my grandpa and grandma so when I made it down stairs I was punched then kicked to the floor they kept kicking me in the stomach and the ribs. The last blow was a kick to my head making my head spin, when I finally got up I walked to school and I got to my locker.

The next morning I woke up and looked in the mirror I looked worse then I normally do. My wolf, Oviyo, was howling with sorrow, I tried to keep him from being to loud because I don't want him to be to loud that spirit hears him.

I got ready and went downstairs but I forgot to check for my grandpa and grandma and when I went downstairs a fist flew into my face then I was kicked to the ground and my grandma and grandpa kept kicking me in the stomach, in the ribs and the last blow was to my head, my head was spinning when I finally managed to get up I walked to school and made it to my locker. But then I got shoved into the locker.

my head hit the locker and then somebody kicked my ribs and I fell to the ground, a fist flew at me and so did feet. I'm pretty sure somebody had a stick or something and kept hitting me and when I opened my eyes all I saw was Skylar just walking by and staring at me, I think what hurt the most was my mate just staring at me and walking by while I get attacked. I manage to say one thing to the people who are beating me, "Please Stop"

they all just laughed at me and then left. I lay there for a couple of minutes and then got up and limped to my class unfortunately that was a class I had with Skylar. when I walked in the teacher asked me where I was I said "The Bathroom" but I think he knew what really happened. When I was walking to my seat Skylar was just staring at me I stared at him for a while but then looked away I don't know why I felt so disappointed in him when he didn't help me I knew he would never help me, no one ever does.

Skylars POV
When I was walking to class I felt this pain sensation all in my abdomen I was walking and for some reason it just kept getting worse, inside my wolf was howling and I didn't understand why but when I was walking and I turned the corner I finally understood why. There, laying on the floor, getting beaten was my mate Zoulue I felt bad for not helping him but what really could I do.

so I just stared at him and walked when I was staring at him he opened his eyes and gave me a pleading look but I just left after a couple minutes he finally walked into class the teacher asked him where he was he said The Bathroom but I'm pretty sure we all knew he was lying he went to go sit down and I was staring at him the whole time while he walked his way towards his seat he looked over his shoulder and looked at me but he didn't give me no glare or nothing he gave me a blank face and I think that's what really scared me.

When class was over I went to all my other periods and then it was lunch I was looking for him to see if he was okay, I may not have accepted him nor have I rejected him but he was still my mate and I wanted to see if he was okay but I couldn't find him anywhere and when I asked people where he was they either said why would I know or who?

Zoulue POV
It was lunch time and I just went home I couldn't bear any more beatings, my body was about to give up but I had to itching urge to cut. I got to my room then I went into the bathroom and under the sink I got one of my package of razors I opened it and grabbed one I slid it across my wrist once, twice, 3 times, 4 times became 5, 6, 7, I finally stopped at 10 cuts. When I was done cutting I looked at my wrist it was bleeding really bad and I think I cut too deep I went to the sink and I rinsed out my cuts they stung a lot.

Then I went under the sink and grabbed some gauze and wrapped it around my arm. I cleaned the razor and put it back in its pack, I put it back under the hiding spot where I hid them and then shut it and went back to my room and lay down. I guess I fell asleep.

when I woke up I looked around my room because something felt odd, when I looked at the floor to put my feet down there was a plate of food I didn't know who put it there but I was thankful I ate it, but I can't eat all of it because my stomach wasn't used to the food I placed the remaining food back onto my shelf where I kept my clock just in case if I get hungry in the middle of the night because that always happens.

I stayed up for a couple more hours with nothing really to do I decided I would do my homework I don't have a lot because I didn't finish the school day but I decided to do it. When I was done I looked at the clock and it was already 11 p.m. I was surprised I've been up for this long. I ended up falling asleep around 3:45 a.m. I was woken up to a knock on my door.

I got up to see who it was, when I opened it there stood Skylar, don't know why he was here and honestly I did not want him here but I knew deep down inside I liked having his presence around he looked at me for a while and he began talking but he mumbled with his words then he said "Sorry never mind" and left I was really confused why he came to my room if he was just going to leave but I just tossed it in the back of my mind. I got your school but something seemed off when I got to my locker and I expected somebody to come in and hit me but nobody did as the day went on not one single person hit me it was odd that something happened I was thankful but deep down inside I knew something was going to end up happening.
