The Icing On The Cake
First you have a base,
Like paper,
A vessel for your mind.
You shape it round the cake,
Just right,
Perfection patience will find.
Next you need your tools,
Like pens,
A display of what you know.
You carve your design,
Write words,
As beauty's not easy to show.
And now to add the cherryz
Like love,
A way to finish off your craft.
The skill and technique,
The talent,
Will show you're dedication to the task.
Writing is
Simply
The icing
On
The
Cake.
