Team Meeting

(Corrina's Dream)
I was in another dimension where there was floating pieces of land. I heard someone calling my name saying, " Corrina......Corina.... come here Corrina." I was drawn to the voice, running towards it. When I finally reached the end of the floating lands, there was a woman standing there with a black cloak on, so I couldn't see her face. Then she said " It will soon be time to awaken, Corrina. Just you wait my darling. Your true power lies dormant until the right time will come. I love you, my darling." I tried to reply, but it was if I was being pulled back to reality.

(Reality)
I woke up being shaken by Leo. I had tears in my eyes and my pillow was soaked with tears. Leo said, " Corrina, why are you crying? Are you okay? Did you have a nightmare?" "I don't know why I'm crying, and yes I'm okay. I didn't have a nightmare, it was more of like a weird dream. In the dream there was a lady calling me darling. I think it was my mom." I replied. "Oh, well you better get up and get ready for today. Remember that you're meeting the rest of the team today." said Leo with a wink. He left my room as I got up and went to my closet. I looked for something really nice to wear. So I put on a Turquoise mini dress to bring out the color of my green eyes a bit more. I opened my door and Leo was standing there waiting.

We walked to a room with the number 13 above it. I knew I had to make a great first impression and so I grabbed every ounce of my courage and walked inside. Leo walked to the front and said, "Hello and good morning everyone. A new member is joining the team." I walked to the center and said, "Hello, My name is Corrina Alto. My power is telekinesis and I hope to become friends with all of you." I started to lift a cup that was on the teachers desk with my powers. I put the cup back down on the table. Everyone clapped and then it went silent. Then Leo told the class to be very nice and welcoming to me. They all came up to me and started asking questions except one girl in the corner of the room, hiding, where I couldn't see. The team had 14 members and by adding me now there is 15. I made friends with all of them except that one girl. I saw her sitting at a desk in the back. I couldn't see her face and so I walked up and said, "Hi, I'm..." I was interrupted by her saying, "I know who you are. You're the new member named Corrina with the telekinesis." She stood up, quickly and looked at me. I gasped and covered my mouth with my hands. I backed up a bit and then uncovered my mouth to say, " K-K-Kate?!?! But you don't have power's. I've known you since 3rd grade and then in 6th grade we parted ways." "Exactly, when I left you in 6th grade, it was because strange things happened to me and I ended up having powers exactly like you! I blame you for me having this power!" I tried to speak but nothing came out. She left the room angrily and slammed the door. All I could do was fall to my knees and cry.
