The next morning when I woke up Renee, Mandy, Shelly, and I were laying on the bed of the cottage. I got up and noticed I was still wearing the clothes I had on yesterday. I was apparently the only one up except for the lady who owned it.
"Hi, I'm Tayler." I said
"Nice to meet you." She kindly said.
"Is it okay if I go change in the bathroom?" I asked.
"Yes, go right ahead." Mrs. Lilac replied.
I gathered my clothes and quickly changed. I tiptoed into the next room where the guys were sleeping and I stepped over to where Jake was laying and shook him." Jake wake up. Wake up." I whispered.
"Tayler, its five in the morning." He said looking at his phone.
"I don't care, let's go on a walk." I begged.
"Fine, just let me get dressed." He said as he rolled out of bed.
I went outside and sat on the porch recalling last night's events.
"Ready?" Jake said, interrupting my thoughts.
We started down the trail leading towards the ocean. The trees were towering above us like friendly giants. The sounds of the environment were light and soothing. I couldn't believe I was in the Bahamas. The place was absolutely breathtaking. Out of nowhere Jake grabbed my hand and kept walking.
"This is what I hoped would happen."I said sheepishly looking up at him.
"And I was hoping you wouldn't mind."Replied Jake.
We strolled down the trail holding hands and observing the scenery.
