Chapter 4 - airport drama

Do you ever get those dreams where you just fall and fall and fall into nothingness? Well I've been getting them a lot lately and I'm starting to wonder if they have some sort of meaning behind them.

It's kinda weird cause they are always the same dream; I start off walking but then I trip over my own feet and just as I'm about to hit the ground, it disappears. I land on a rug but then i feel it sliding from underneath me like someone had pulled it away. I fall again until I land on a slide and slide down it falling again just before I wake up. I always wake up at the same bit every time too.

This is happening to me again right now at this very moment in time. It's a rather scary dream and I can always feel my heart beating out of my chest. I'm falling off the slide into nothingness as I jolt awake on a cold hard floor confused as to where I am.

I look up and see two fuzzy people staring down at me. I rub my eyes a few times before they readjust themselves and focus on the two people in front of me. They look about my age, 2 girls.

I sit up and look around taking in my surroundings: tall buildings all around, some parts have little bushes and there is no other people besides the two before me. I'm sitting on a concrete ground with grazed knees and palms. I finally realize I'm still at the school just not in the bathrooms anymore. They help me up and I ask what happened.

"We just found you in the bathroom so we dragged you out cause like its so gross in there and we thought we should wait till you woke up to like make sure you're okay and stuff. Oh yeah I'm Elise by the way." she beamed.

"And I'm Kristen but call me kris!" the other girl said.

Elise was really pretty and had a great personality. She had thin brown hair with natural blonde streaks all through and lots of freckles but they suited her. She was average height, about the same as me and she was super skinny.

Kris was shorter and also really pretty. She was like a punk rock girl and I thought she was so cool. She had short, thin, blonde, choppy hair and big blue eyes. She was sweet and funny but I heard when she was in a bad mood, she is scary as. I still like her though and I could tell we would all be great friends.

I arrived at home and Keri rushed out and embraced me into one of her fabulous hugs.
"I was so worried darling, are you okay? Those girls are so mean, next time walk away okay?!" she says.
I assure her that I'm fine and I go to have a warm shower. When I'm done, dinner is ready but after all the names those mean girls called me, I don't feel like eating. They made me believe I'm so fat and I should lose weight so that's just what I'm going to do.
I only eat half of my spaghetti and already feel full. So full I feel sick. I tell Keri I'm not feeling too well so she lets me leave and gives Dave the rest of my food. I go upstairs to my room and lie there for a few minutes until I get bored. I grab my laptop from under my bed and watch a movie on megashare until the world around me starts to go all dark, putting me in a deep sleep.

I wake up to see Lauren shaking me lightly, telling me to get up and something about Ashton.
I widen my eyes at the sound of Ashton's name as I realize today is the day he is coming home from tour. I leap out of bed almost hitting Lauren and I run around my room getting ready. Once I'm ready we all get in the car and drive to the airport where there is a lot of screaming girls probably waiting for the boys as well. They all have posters saying "welcome home 5sos" and all similar stuff. We make our way around the crowd of girls to the front and sit down since they aren't due to be here for another 15 minutes.

I get bored after 5 minutes of listening to boring adult talk and go to take a walk around and look at shops.
"Be back in 7 minutes! you don't want to miss them!" Keri yells as I leave.
But Peter stops me just before. "are you sure you don't want me there in the distance, just incase something happens to you?" he asks me with concern.
"Nope I'm fine, and if something happens ill scream. I won't go too far away okay so don't worry nothing will happen." I assure him and he lets me go.

I walk around to random shops but don't go too far that I loose sight of my lovely new family who care so dearly about me, even Peter my body guard. I walk into a small city beach shop cause it's my favourite shop and try on some sunglasses cause my other ones are broken. As I'm looking into the mirror checking out the sunnies on my face, I see someone walking straight over to me. I turn around and scream before covering my mouth embarrassed.

The guy is wearing a hoodie and dark glasses but I know who it is. I immediately hug him and he laughs and hugs me back.
"ashton what are you doing here so early?" I ask him in a low voice so no one knows that it's him.
"Our flight was really early and we wanted to surprise you. We only saw you though, where are the others?"
"They are back over there, where all your fans are." I say pointing in their direction. As I'm pointing to our family I notice a guy dressed in all black staring at both of us. When he sees me looking at him, he quickly looks away but he gave me a weird feeling and I knew something wasn't right.
"Ashlee, I think someone is watching us" Ashton whispers to me and secretly points to the same guy I was looking at.
"Yeah I noticed that too, what do we do?" I asked him quietly with a worried look.
"I'll call Peter" he says grabbing out him phone.
The strange guy put his finger to his ear and starts talking like he has an earpiece or something in his ear. Like in those spy movies. I make my grip a bit tighter around Ashton's arm as the guy starts walking towards our direction.
Ashton finishes talking to Peter and quickly sends a text to Luke, Calum and Michael telling them to meet us somewhere. Then he grabs my hand tightly and guides me away from the guy but Ashton stops as we get around the corner as we see there are more guys that look the same as the other one. We freeze not knowing what to do or where to go, so we decide on running but Peter appears just in time to save us.
"Lauren is going to tell all the fangirls that you are all over here so then they will come rushing over, causing us to be able to get away and those guys will loose us since there are so many girls" Peter explains the plan to us and we understand.

Soon enough a stampede of girls come screaming and running over to us and we easily get away with out those weird guys seeing us. We meet up with Keri and Lauren and we go to a 5 star lounge area where we can hide out. Luke, Calum and Michael were there too so we all greet each other. My heart is still beating really fast so I get a glass of water and sit down on a really comfy seat. The others discuss what is going to happen and I just daydream on the super comfy seat.
"Ashlee, we're going now, you are going with Ashton, Keri, Luke and Peter." I hear a voice within my daydreams and stand up. I follow Ashton out of a door and we walk to a fancy, pretty car. I have to get in the middle cause I'm the smallest and Ashton and Luke sit on either side of me with Keri and Peter in the front. The drive home is long and uncomfortable but fun because I get to spend time with 2/4 of my favourite boys.
"Who were those guys back at the airport?" I ask no one in particular.
"Those guys were identity breachers. Trying to discover the truth about someone's identity when it's meant to be kept a secret." Peter explains cause he's just so smart.

We talk about it for a little longer until I notice that we are nowhere near home yet but just about to pass a really pretty beach. So I tell Luke and Ashton and we all yell out at once for Peter to stop at the beach. We get out and I already have my swimmers on so I strip off my clothes and wait for Luke and Ashton to do the same and we all run down to the water like little kids and jump in.
Once we had enough, we got out and realized we had no towels and mentally hit ourselves in the head for being stupid, but luckily it's a hot day today so we sit on the grass in the sun to dry off for the next few hours just talking about random things. I forget about all my worries when I'm with them and I love that I can do that, just forget everything, even if its just for a hour it's better than nothing.
