Chapter 7 - peter or tyrone?

(A/N: (SPOILER ALERT) so this chapter is for my friend cause she wants Peter to be black and his name to be Tyrone ok I'm sorry.)

Today my life changed, literally. A few days had passed from when I was sick and now I'm feeling so much better. Ashton has been there for me the whole time and I love him so much for that. But today was pretty strange, I walked downstairs for breakfast and saw Peter sitting there with the rest of the family doing their thing around him. Although Peter was the only one just sitting there quite serious whereas everyone else was doing strange things cause that's what this family does. Ashton was at his portable drums again practicing, jumping around like crazy, Lauren was talking on her phone to a friend while stretching, and when I say stretching, I mean doing the splits and leg mounts. Harry was lying on the floor. Keri was running away from dave with the tv remote because 'so you think you can dance' was on tv and it's her favourite show but Dave wanted to watch the footy so they were fighting for it like children.

When Peter saw me at the bottom of the stairs he told me and everyone else to come to the table as he has an important matter to discuss with us all. We all sit down and everyone is quiet and serious which was weird because just a few seconds ago the were going crazy, you wouldn't believe they were the same people.

He clears his throat and starts to speak. "So you have all known me for quite a while now, thanks to Ashlee here." He says gesturing to me, smiling. "And I've told you all lots of things about me, like how I'm African American even if it is quite obvious." He jokes and we all have a bit of a laugh about it before continuing to listen. "But some things I've had to keep private incase of an identity spill, I just can't risk it. But I've known you all for quite a while now and I can trust you, I'm going to be honest starting with my real name." I knew his name wasn't Peter, it was always a weird feeling I got when I called him that, it just didn't feel right. He hesitated for a moment before continuing. "My real name is Tyrone." he said proudly and we all beamed with excitement.
"Well it's very nice to meet you Tyrone!" Dave exclaimed shaking Tyrone's hand as if they had just met for the first time.

I knew I would keep forgetting his name for at least the first week, so to remember his name I would walk around the house and for every red object I saw, I would say "TYRONE!" I thought it was a great idea considering there is so many red items in this house but I didn't go overboard to the point where it was just plain annoying.

Tyrone hadn't kept many more secrets from us, his name was the biggest secret but he told us everything about his life because he trusted us and I will never ever give away his identity. Mai.

Ashton's POV

"TYRONE!" I jumped at Ashlee's voice as she walks past my room, even though I should be used to it by now. She's been doing it for the past few days since Tyrone talked to us and I think it's a really smart idea even if its annoying. I looked down to see that I'm wearing my favourite red shirt and I laugh to myself knowing that she saw it too and that's the reason she said Tyrone.

Ashlee walks back into my room a few minutes later and sits on my bed with her phone. "Look! I made this all by myself, maybe with some help of Michael though...and maybe Luke too....and Calum...." She trailed off.

She showed me a short music video she made and it was really quite clever. "my little Ashlee has come a long way! I'm so proud." I teased her.

I heard my phone buzz so I checked it incase it was important and luckily I did because it was major important.
