Greyson's POV
I start blinking from the bright lights.
"Oh my god you're waking up!"
I open my eyes to see Desiree, she had a tear stained face and bags under her eyes
"W-where am I..?"
"You're in the hospital..you and Damien got in a car accident..."
"I-is he okay..?"
"He hasn't woken up yet...he got it a lot worse then you..."
My eyes fill with tears, not yet spilling over.
"Is he gonna be okay? Will he wake up? Will he survive? Is he..." the tears spill over.
Desiree pats my shoulder lightly. "I'm sorry Greyson. I think he's gonna be okay, but you can't see him in your condition."
"What!" I yell. Not. Cool. He's my boyfriend why can't I see him, I'm fine I feel fine! "Why can't I see him. I'm perfectly okay"
"Doctor said not to let you get up or see Damien. I'm sorry." Desiree leaves the room, her shoulders hunched over.
Desiree's POV
I walk into Damien's room..and moms sitting in a chair next to Damien's bed crying.
"M-mom..."
"I'm fine...I just can't loose my son.."
"Mom, he's going to be okay.."
"Yeah.." she stands up "I'm going to find John.."
Then she leaves. I sit down where she was sitting.
"Damien...please wake up..."
He doesn't move, the ventilator breathing for him.
"Please..." I put my head down and start crying
Karen's POV (that's new I think?)
I walk around the hospital, until I see John talking to a nurse, stops once he sees me. I walk over to him, tears in my eyes.
"Hey, he's stable that's all that matters at the moment"
"Yeah...it's just..how did Greyson end up pretty much okay..but my baby needs a machine for him to be able to breathe.."
"Karen it happens more then you think.."
"I guess you're right.."
"Look at me, I promise Damien will not die, no matter what I have to do to make stay alive"
I hug him.
"Thanks.."
He pulls away and looks at me.
"You should go home, rest, have a shower.l, eat. Then who knows, Damien could wake up"
"Yeah.."
"I have to go see a patient..I'll see you later"
"Okay.."
I wave goodbye, and leave.
Greyson's POV - a week later
I was sitting in my hospital bed, thinking I don't know what about though. Then someone walks in. She was wearing dark blue scrubs, and from what my mom told me this person is an attending, top of the surgical food chain.
"How are you Greyson? I'm your doctor, Doctor Stevens" (IZZY!!)
"I'm fine...when can I leave my room?"
"Ah I was told you'd want to go see, Damien, was it?"
"Yeah..."
"Well you can if you want too"
I sit up straighter.
"Really?!"
"Yes" she smiles
Temskip - when Greyson is in Damien's room
"He looks so peaceful..." I say quietly
"He may look peaceful but you never know what goes on in there head.."
"I do know.."
"If you don't mind me asking, how?"
"I'm his boyfriend..he tells me everything..most of the time.."
"Well for the record you guys totally look like you make a good couple"
"Thanks..."
"You're welcome, I'm gonna give you a minute"
I nod. I look at her as she leaves, then I look back over at Damien when she leaves.
"Damien..I-it's me..I m-miss you..p-please wake up..."
Nothing happens.
"P-please.." I start to cry
"I can't lose you.."
Still nothing happens.
"I love you..I'm sorry I feel like this was my fault...I should've been paying attention..I'm sorry.." I cry harder
Play song now
His heart beat starts slowing down until he starts flat lining. Moments later a doctor comes rushing in, shoving me out of the way.
"He's crashing!!" The Doctor yells
The nurses come rushing in with a crash cart, and the doctor starts CPR.
"Paddles! Charge to 100!"
"Clear!" Everyone moves their hands off of him as the doctor puts the paddles on the shock pad things
Nothing happens.
"Charge to 200!"
"Clear!" He shocks him again
Still nothing.
"Charge to 300!"
"Clear!"
Nothing happens again.
Then lay stop.
"N-no..." I start sobbing "you have to do something! Please!"
