I sat on the white bench, I put my phone down in my lap, proud of myself for finally choosing. Well, I sort of chose, the truth was-

"Skye," Sean said in a warning tone. Ben sighed behind him.

"What!?" I said, for now, I was still smiling, I didn't know how long that would last, but I was for now.

"You cant choose both Skye," Ben said, he didn't sound as frustrated at Sean, but there was still that tired tone in his voice, I stared at the boys for a moment and my smile faded.

"Look, this has been going on for as long as iv been at this lodge, it does have to be this way, you're right that I cant date both of you, but I can choose for both of you to be my friends. I don't want to lose either of you, and I'm guessing neither of you wants to lose me, so why don't we make it simple and let everyone stay friends." I said in a rush. A soft breeze hit the back of my head, sending chills down my spine and helping me calm down. I thought I made the right choice, but the way Sean was pacing frustrated me a little. It seemed like it was all or nothing with him sometimes.

"We get it, Skye, Iv got some work to do in the second-floor bedrooms," Ben said calmly, he walked up to me, smiled as best he could, even though I could tell it was fake, and then he kissed my cheek and walked back to the Lodge. Sean looked at me for a moment and shook his head.

"I don't get it, but, iv got work to do as well," Sean said exhaustedly. He turned and walked back to the Lodge without saying anything else.

I sat back down on the bench and got out my phone, time to call Josh. He left right after the show was over, I wished he hadn't, but he had to get back to school.

"Hey!! What's up? Did I leave too soon? Is there good news I should know?" Josh sped through his questions and wiggled his eyebrows at the last question. I smiled at his enthusiasm but shook my head.

"Hi, well, I guess the clouds are what's up." I tried to joke but it came out dull, Josh narrowed his eyes at me through the screen.

"What's wrong Skye?" He asked in a 'Im your best friend and you better answer me before I turn right around and come back' kind of tone.

"Nothing, just, I chose, and the guys didn't like my decision," I said quietly, I stood up and made my way to the lodge to get to my mom's tunnels. The area around the bench was getting a little crowded as guests walked on their evening strolls.

"Well one of them was happy right? Unless one of them all the sudden decided they didn't like you anymore. And that also leads to the question, WHICH ONE DID YOU CHOOSE!!!????" My smile returned when Josh started yelling, he could always hype me back up when I was in a bad mood. Exactly why we were best friends.

"No, neither of them were happy, though, Ben seemed more accepting of it than Sean. I chose both of them, as friends, if I don't want to lose either of them, I thought it would be best for me to just stay friends with them. But I may lose both of them, or at least Sean." I said, I put a finger to my lips to keep Josh from responding as I stepped into the Lodge. I didn't want my father to hear anything of course. It was a sensitive subject. When I reached the tunnels I allowed Josh to respond.

"While it's a good idea, I think you still should have chosen one of them, I mean, they make you happy, and I'm not saying they can replace me, as I'm the all-powerful friend, but I do think you need them both. Why don't we just come up with a logical way to choose between them. Like I could do a voting thing on my blog! Like the TV show did! I mean, Ben won that, but of course you already knew that." Josh said. He got out his backup phone and pulled up his blog, I stopped him by blinking and subconsciously tugging on my ear.

"I didn't know, and honestly I didn't want to," I said, again, tugging and messing with my ear. She smirked at me knowingly and I forced my hand to rest in my lap and stop tugging on my ear. "And no, I don't want to do another voting thing. I want to make up my own mind, not have other people choose for me, besides, they don't know me and I don't know them, how could they possibly decide which person is a better guy for me? Just based on how he looks? That's wrong." I protested, Josh snorted with laughter, I rolled my eyes, he loved it when I went on my random rants.

"Preach it girl," Josh said in between bursts of laughter. He finally paused after a good five minutes. "Then why don't we just do some sort of competition? Would be fun to see Ben and Sean go head to head." Josh said with a grin. That Evil mastermind.

"That's actually a great idea. We could call it 'The Olympic Lodge Games!'. I think it works, and we can have it to where all guests that stay at the lodge can compete, and the staff of course." I rambled on about it with Josh for what seemed like hours.

"Alright, that's it, I'm coming back, see you tomorrow!" Josh hung up before I could even express any surprise. Yay!! Hmm, I need something to celebrate my new plan. Oh! The tree! I smiled and leapt off the couch in the tunnel, headed towards the exit at the tree.
