Neil sucked in a breath when Avni locked her gaze with his. He saw the blush that crept onto her cheeks and neck under the intensity of his gaze. Neil was well aware that she could feel his bulge through their wet layer of clothes against her belly.

Avni's eyes grew wide with shock. It couldn't be! It simply could not happen! A second betrayal within the span of a week was too much and she hit the ground before the bullet could hit her.
