Ian POV
I woke up in my bed, yet I remembered falling asleep on the couch. It didn't take me long to realize Cain had put me here. Looking to my left, I saw said boy.
His long black hair was gently laying over his face, with the markings under his eyes showing slightly. The ones on his mouth doing a smile, making him look even cuter if possible. His elflike ears twitched slightly, reacting to my awaking.
I completely turned to face him and put my hand on his thigh, slowly trying to wake him up. He didn't need to hurry, I was enjoying looking at him. But of course, with few mumbles he woke up after a while.
Cain opened his eyes, their rich gold showing and slightly glowing. He looked up at me and turned around, now on his side. Smiling, the boy took my hand in his and curled up closer. I had to giggle at his adorableness. We simply looked at each other with smiles, and had a light conversation.
---
Cain stood in the kitchen, presumably trying to make human food. It wasn't that long ago since he turned, but getting his memory mixed up made him forget the less important things and he now thought of it as poison. I appreciated the effort.
Hugging him from behind made the cooking slightly burn, since he got scared. Clearly only using the two human eyes. His prepared food was still very good and smelling it, our son Moon soon came to eat too. It was a warm family moment.
Moon talked about his dreams for a while and Cain just happily nodded along, showing he visited the boys dream and protected it from nightmares. I really was lucky to have such an amazing husband.
"Pa, the deers looked so cool! They had these white swirls on them and really bright blue eyes! Do they exist? Can we meet them?"
He already knew about Cain being a Guardian and a former god. He used every moment possible to look at his creatures and into the fantasy world. I myself only visited twice as Ko didn't really like me. It was obvious why, I get to spend time with Cain without him trying to hurt or insult me. She surely thought I thought I was better.
"Dad, are we gonna go now?"
Cain laughed a little, but shaked his head no and proofed away, coming back after few seconds with clothes for Moon. He also dressed himself in appropriate length pants and a yellow hoodie. He gave the Moons clothes to me and I proceeded to dress Moon. He just sat obediently and helped me with dressing when needed.
As soon as I was done, Cain hugged me and- hey I was now dressed too. Having a magical husband surely had it perks. I kissed the raven hair and with Moon holding my hand, I went to his school. Cain would have gone himself, but the people in town didn't really like him.
He was rich and loved me, the poor quiet guy with only intelligence as a friend. When he moved in, every girl was on him. The people in general didn't have much money, and when a hot guy with loads of it showed up? Let's say he didn't have peace. At all.
But now, he's taken by me and we even had a child. We said it was adopted to everyone, as my husband's secret couldn't be found. I myself was quite curious when he said we could have children. When I asked, he didn't answer with much but the sum up of it would be 'Dragon egg 3 months don't try to find me'. Surely, confusing.
But, after 3 months of Cain missing, he came back with a small child. That was Moon. He held Cain's powers, but Cain took them away as he didn't want him to suffer. He already went through the pain, and experienced his daughters. Speaking of Luna, she was a child Cain had in a previous relationship. Across from Guardian abilities, she holds the ones of angels. Go figure.
