chapter 5

         Back on earth Kane and Pricillia just reached the UWC base near the gateway, the building was huge with researchers everywhere, reaching a hallway that was filled doors facing each other. They were led to one of the rooms and told that the emissaries will soon be with them. Kane looked around trying to find an escape route if it didn't go as planned, Pricillia was happy, she was going back home, she misses her father immersly but she was a little sad because she knew the presence of Kane in futuria we surely cause a ruckus, since his practically the only kalnazar left, the empire hasn't seen one in a long time.

         A squeak from the door startle them as Kane stood up abruptly ready to fight but priscilla told him to stand down, he watched as pricillia hug the man that came in, the man's presence put him off, made him suspicious, but since priscilla was ok, he wouldnt care for now.

“Kane this is Zachary Zenobea, Zach this is Kane Kalnazar”. Pricillia introduce them as Zachary move forward and stretched out his hand for Kane to shake.

“Kalnazar; hmm now that's a name, it’s an honour to meet you Primular”

“No the honor is all mine”. Kane replies shaking him back, the feeling he is getting from this man its scary, those purple eyes had this shadow, filled with something he just couldn't quite get his hands on, but one thing is for certain he knew them, he’s was one like that also filled with darkness and desperation.

      Pricilia asked about her father and she was told he is alright, he is waiting for her back at the palace, moments later intara walked in with two cups in his hands, he handed one to kane and the other to pricillia.

“I know you are thirsty, is lemon tea as the humans call”.

         Kane looked at it warily but before he could object pricillia already started drinking hers, he just smiles, as he was about to take a sip an image caught his eye, it was that same two headed dragon insignia, it was on intara’s cape, it had some symbols beneath it, surprisingly he knew what they meant “ZENOBIA” Kane stood abruptly knocking off the cup from priscillia’s lips.

“What’s wrong?”

“We have to leave this place is not safe”.

         She looked at his eyes, her people will never betrayed her, but the look in Kane’s eyes made her sure that something was wrong. the moment she took a step a trian of fatigue hit her, it's like all her magical energy have been drained from her body, she has been poisoned; and she knew the poison it is from futuria, that's when realization hit her, her house have been betrayed.

           Kane rushed back to her, she was awake but she couldn't even move a finger, he raise his head to look at the other men, but before he could react, he was kicked right on the face with so much force that he broke five walls and landed right outside the building with his sword at hand ready to fight.

      Zachery and intara walk out of the rubles with Pricillia carried by Zachary.

“Intara show this amateur the difference between a “wannabe” and a true dragonear”. Zachary tuned and walked through the gateway as Intara pulled out his sword and walked towards Kane ready to fight.

        Intara attached with the same speed and strength, maybe even more, as kane tries to keep up with his savage strength but at the end he was getting slower and Intara was getting faster, at the end Kane was defeated, slashed across the chest, left for dead.
