Hey so I'm sorry for confusing you. I thought I made it clear how the story works, but it seems I didn't 😅 sorry guys.
Basically there is one story line in the beginning that then sees a timejump and after that there are two storylines for a while, to fill you in on what happened in between. I always put something like "two months earlier" at the beginning of the chapters.
Here's a short timeline:
The previous book ended in February 2021 when Emma and Justin just got engaged. This one starts one year after they got married that means chapter 1 begins in autumn 2022 which makes Emma 29 and Justin 28 years old if I'm not mistaken.
Justin then goes on tour. I will not give you any further details on what happened between then and chapter 11. Just wait and see :)
Emma becomes CEO in January 2024 which makes her 30 and Justin 29. Chapter 11 (after the time jump) is set in April 2024. The flashbacks that start in Chapter 14 take place from then on, during the months before Emma goes to see the girls in Canada at the end of March.
I hope that helps and explains things. Sorry, I know it seems messy but I don't think it'll be too long before there is only one story line.
The next couple of chapters are really hard for me to write and they'll be very emotional so I wanna make them perfect which is why I haven't updated in forever. I haven't forgotten about this book, I just keep writing and deleting things. I'm sorry. 🙈 please don't hate me. 😅
