Olivia's POV:
We arrived at the guest home, Fili sat with Kili looking after him. It appeared that Kili's health had turned for the worse. I retired to the guest room where Thorin and I slept. Thorin remained awake, sitting with Kili and Fili for awhile. Thorin too felt worried of his young nephew. After Thorin spend time with Fili and Kili, Thorin later joined me in our room, and he laid down in bed next to me.Thorin took me into his arms. "How is Kili?" I asked Thorin. Thorin sighed. "Not too well, I'm afraid." said Thorin sadly. "Oh, Thorin!" I whispered to Thorin, laying my head on his chest. "He should stay here until he recovers. It's only for the best." said Thorin as he held me. I even agreed with Thorin on this. "But someone needs to be here with Kili. He cannot be here alone." I said to Thorin. "I'm going to have Oin stay and look after Kili. I'm hoping he'll recover so he can join us." said Thorin. I nodded in agreement. But then several things occurred to me that caused me to worry. What happened if the same thing happened along time ago when Smaug attacked the first time, to happen again? "Thorin?" I spoke up. "Yes, Olivia?" said Thorin. "Never mind." I said. I wanted to bring it up, but I could not bring myself to do so. It was quite difficult.
Thorin could see the worry in my eyes, and he gently placed his finger on me. "Olivia, you look worried. Are you okay?" Thorin asked gently. "I'm fine, Thorin." I sighed. "Here, let me calm your worries!" said Thorin softly. As I laid my head upon Thorin's chest, Thorin started to sing. I could hear his voice rumbling through his chest, as my ear pressed on it. I closed my eyes drifting off into deep sleep as Thorin sang, and gently ran his fingers through my hair. After Thorin sang, he looked down at me and smiled. "I love you, my azuygal!" whispered Thorin.
No One's POV:
The next morning, everyone met outside of the guest house. Olivia gasped as she saw Thorin walked out now dressing in armor, and a tunic with puffy sleeves and red cloak. She thought she truly looked like a king dressed like that. Olivia was still wearing the dress Sigrid had given her, and she climbed into the boat with the others. "Where's Bofur?" asked Olivia. "He's still sleeping. He better wake up before he misses the boat." said Dwalin. "He got very drunk last night. You should've seen him. He was in a middle of de song, and down he went!" said Nori. Olivia couldn't help but chuckle at Nori's words. After Fili climbed into the boat, Kili approached the boat, but Thorin stopped him. "Not you!" said Thorin. "What are you doing? I want to go!" said Kili. "Kili, return to the Mountain when you are healed." said Thorin softly. "But I want to go, Thorin! You told us many stories of Erebor, and FIli and I dreamed of seeing our old home! Please let us go!" pleaded Kili. Shortly, Fili climbed out of the boat, facing Thorin.
"You don't understand how much this means to us, Thorin. You got to let us go. You told us stories of Erebor, and Kili and I dreamed of seeng this place. You got to let us come!" pleaded Fili. "I'm not going to risk this quest for dwarves, not even my own kin!" scowled Thorin, turning away from FIli and Kili. Olivia became angry hearing these words. She understood that Thorin wanted to leave Kili behind for his safety, and she agreed with him last night. But when she heard Thorin stating the remark about his nephews, it angered her. How could he say that about his own flesh and blood? Shortly after Thorin turned, about to climb into the boat, he saw Fili standing beside his brother. "Are you coming, Fili?" asked Thorin. "No, I'm not coming." said FIli."Fili, someday you will be king. You will understand. You are part of the Company." said Thorin. "I belong with my brother!" snapped FIli. Elsie climbed out of the boat. "If Fili's not going, I'm not going either!" snapped Elsie. "Elsie!" Olivia exclaimed. "Olivia, just go with Thorin. We'll be fine." said Elsie. And as the two sisters hugged, Thorin spoke up. "Enough! We got to get going!" snapped Thorin. Tears streamed down the sisters cheeks as the boat began to move, and Olivia could see Elsie wave at Olivia.
