Olivia's POV:

I sat with Thorin, Elrond and Gandalf, as they discussed their weapons. They spoken for a little while, until Thorin stood up. "Excuse me. Coming, Olivia?" said Thorin, who wanted me to join him. I smiled, and I followed Thorin as we sat in another part of the dining area. Thorin took out his flask. "Your secret stash?" I joked with Thorin. Thorin grinned. "Yep." said Thorin, as he took a big swig  from the flask. "I swear if you burp, I'm going to laugh." I said. "I don't burp." said Thorin. "How can you not burp? Everyone has to burp or fart sometimes. Or are you too sophisticated to do such things?" I continued to joke with Thorin. "Its okay for my Companions to do such things, but I don't do them." said Thorin. "Thorin, you're something else, you know that? I bet you let a few farts and burps in your life time! It really isn't healthy for you to hold it all in." I said. Thorin just gave me this look like I have lost my mind.  "I usually pass gas when no one is around." said Thorin.  I couldn't help but laugh at that.  I wished I could be around to hear Thorin pass gas. Suddenly, we overhear Nori complaining about the music of the elves. I have to admit, the music is very beautiful. But after a while, it makes you sleepy. I'm pretty much like the dwarves, hoping we can throw a wild party.

"Change the tune will you? It sounds like we're at a funeral!" said Nori. "Did somebody die?" asked Oin. "Well, lads. This only leaves for just one thing!" said Bofur, grinning and he leapt on a pillar centering the dining hall, and he started to sing, and shortly the other dwarves joined in with him, even Thorin stood up and started dancing and singing along:

There is an inn a merry old inn

Beneath an old grey hill

There they brew the beer so brown

The man in the moon himself came down

One night to drink his fill!

It warmed my heart to see Thorin this merry. And dancing! Oh Lord, the dwarf is actually dancing!! My hormones were definitely had skyrocketed. I really wanted to jump into Thorin's arms.  As Thorin danced, I walked behind him, wrapping my arms around his waist, dancing with him. Thorin grinned, and he spun around, sweeping me into his arms, and danced with me. I could see Elsie dancing with Fili.  When the song ended, the dwarves cheered, throwing food every where. Even Elsie joined in on the action. Elsie always enjoyed food fights. This reminded me of the time when we had flour fights in the kitchen. Our adopted mother hated it when we did that, but then she joined in with us herself!  Elrond shortly invited us to the Hall of Fire to listen to some elvish singing and music.  Thorin sat impatiently. Thorin couldn't take much more of elvish music. And the more he watched the elves playing on their harps and lutes, I could hear Thorin mumbling to himself that he could play a better harp much better than the elves. I chuckled softly, and of course, he heard me.

"Why don't you go up and show those elves who's the Maestro harpist?" I teased Thorin. "Oh yeah? Really? Well, I'm going to do just that then!" smirked Thorin. Oh shit, he's in competitive mode. I forgot that dwarves can really get competitive if they wanted to, I thought. Thorin stood up and approached an Elf asking if he could play on the harp. It took the Elf by surprise when Thorin asked him. The Elf stood up, allowing Thorin to sit on the stool in his place. The dwarves smiled. And it didn't take the rest of the Company long to approach Thorin, borrowing some of the instruments from the Elves, so they could join Thorin. And Elsie went into complete fan girl mode when she saw Fili picking up a guitar like instrument. I wanted to find a bucket of cold water to pour on her. But it was then, no soon as Thorin struck the harp and started singing, it was my turn to fan girl. Elsie just looked at me as if I lost my mind. And the elves laughed, they could see my reaction plain as day. Gandalf and Elrond too laughed at my reaction.
