The Cure

Part 5

I walk over to Rein and help him gather all the wood and put it in a pile, I look outside and watch the snow fly past, "I'm surprised this place still has windows" Rein says sitting down next to me. I nod and begin to build the fire.

We are all gathered around the fire, it has gotten dark. " I guess we are going to be here for a while"I say pulling a sheet over my shoulders and wrapping it around me. The snow has calmed down a bit but it is still going, it is pitch black and freezing outside so we have no way of knowing how much snow is out there. Kesha walks over to us and hands us each a cup of noodles, I hold it in my hands it is so warm although it does not tase all that good I eat it quickly so it has no time to cool down in the cold temperature. after that, we heat up some water and clean our supplies and quickly wipe off any dirt we have on ourselves. after that, we roll out our sleeping bags and slept around the fire.

About 5 hours later we are awoken by a large crashing sound, I shoot up and look around checking if everyone is ok, I see rein crawling out of his sleeping bag, Kesha and William are also sitting up I get out of my sleeping bag and grab my tourch "lets go find out what that was"I say looking at rein, then I look over at kesha "you and william stay here and keep an eye out" she nods and starts to build up the fire to re light it, scince it had gone out while we where sleeping.

Rein and I had been walking for a few minutes now when we get a sudden cold breeze, I shudder a little and step closer to Rein. As we continue walking it keeps getting colder and colder. "that's strange" he says next to me "before we went to sleep we went around and boarded up the windows and locked the door, it shouldest be this cold". 

I agree it shouldn't be we turn another corner we are almost at the centre of the hospital. we decided not to sleep here because of all the mould and crumbling walls, and also for the fact that it was a big open space which is not ideal for warmth. As we walk into the centre room we see a pile of snow on the ground, we cautiously walk further in when I notice some snow falling in front of me, I look up and see a hole in the roof allowing the cold air and snow to get in. Rein and I decide that for now, we should just board up the entrance and we will fix what we can in daylight.
