Marshall's POV

I'm back at my cave and I start developing a plan. I hear Gumbutt is taking Fi to his stupid ball. Not that I care about Fi... but I hate when Gummy gets his way!

I'm gonna grab Fi and just take her to the field near my cave and were gonna have fun... That's a really stupid plan... but... I don't care I'm going with it.

Fionna's POV

Me and Cake arrived at the castle and Cake just left me to find Lord M. I stand near the door looking around in search for Gummy. Awe Gummy I should call him that now. It uh... "cute."

Suddenly my hand is tugged and someone is holding it. I look over and instantly blush. ITS GUMMY!!!

"Hey Fionna, follow me. I need to tell you something." He says pulling me out into the candy garden.

We sit down next to each other on a chocolate bench soy rounded by chocolate red roses. He plucks a beautiful chocolate rose and hand it to me. My face turns as red as the rose he gave me.

"Fi... I don't know how to say this but I really just think... how do I say this... I think I'm in..." He says.

Suddenly out of no where Marshall come out of the bushes turning visible and tackles Gumball. Out of nowhere I scream. But the two keeps throwing punches and kicks. It obvious Marshall's winning because... well Gumball is weaker, I have to admit. I bring out my sword and slash it not thinking about anything.

"OUCH! OH FLIP RRRR!!!" Marshall yells clutching his arm.

Both of them stop, Marshall falls to the ground clutching his cheek. I look at him and his cheek and his right arm is bleeding. I feel really bad. I reach into my purse and grab a potion thing. Not knowing why it is (it's the truth potion XD) I pour it on his wounds. He falls to the ground directly after.

"Marshall! I'm so sorry!" I yell. "Just stay away from me! I thought I loved you but your obviously crazy in love with that annoying Gumbutt!" Marshall blurts out.

We all freeze. Marshall's covers his mouth and looks away. He turns himself invisible, saying. "Don't bother me."

I sit down and start to cry. I just cry and cry and cry, Gumball comes down and wraps his arm around me. "Fionna I know this is a bad time... but I love you." Gumball says.

The world starts going blank, my head starts pounding, and before I know it, I pass out.
