True Love

We all rush over in an instant to where Marshall stands. He flips open the book and goes throughout the pages rapidly. He finally stop at a page and flips it show us.

"It says true love can stop the Lich!!!" Marshall exclaims almost excited.

Love... Why is it always with the love? Love is so confusing. Can't there be another way in life?

"Is there any other way?" I ask tired. Marshall's smile turns into a frown, "No, love is the only way."

I guess I do kind of love Marshall. It's a little confusing though. He left me for two years. He came back just a few days ago. So much has happened in such a short period of time.

"Fi, Fionna... I love you." Marshall says quietly looking straight at me. "Marshall this isn't the ti-" I slow down as I get farther in my sentence.

He looks at me with disappointment. It has to be true love, I can't force my love on him. THIS IS WAY TOO CONFUSING!!! I'm pretty sure I love him. I wouldn't have lived in his house while he was gone if I didn't.

I look up to see Marshall finishing up a sentence to Cake. I look at Cake with a questioning look and she pretends that she doesn't see it. WAIT, CAKE AND LORD M. ARE THE ANSWERS TO MY PROBLEM!!!

"What about true love from your and Lord M???" I ask full of energy. "It has to be with two opposites." Marshall answers quickly as if knowing I would ask.

I nod and frown in frustration. I let out a loud breath and start walking away from the table and towards the exit.

"Where are you going Fi?" Marshall asks after me. "Well we have to go confront the Lich. Show her true love and I guess she will disapear. Let's go."
