Annie ran as fast as she could to the girls' washroom.

As soon as she got there, she went inside one of the cubicles and cried. She cried as silently as she could, in fear that someone else was in the room.

A few moments later, the washroom door bursted open. "Annie!" Camilla called out.

She immediately exited the cubicle and hugged Camilla.

"Oh, Annie," Camilla said rubbing her back in comfort. "Fuck Jason! That bastard probably smoked a new batch of weed. You can see it in his eyes. He's high as fuck."

"It's not that," Annie said in between sobs. "The people..."

"Fuck them," Camilla said. "They don't know what really happened. Jason is full of shit and people are judgemental. Their lives depend on gossip, Annie. Fuck all of them."

Annie couldn't say anymore so she just cried in Camilla's arms. Thankfully, no one else entered the room.

Jake parked his motorcycle in the school's parking lot and looked for his friends.

It was already dismissal when Jake reached the school and the lot was already packed with students leaving. But Jake knew Dominique when he saw him.

"Dom," Jake tapped Dom's shoulder as soon as he got close to them.

Dom turned around and when he realized it was Jake, he held him by the arm, and walked away from the group. "Where the hell have you been?"

"Doesn't matter," he replied. "Kevin called me. What the fuck happened?"

"Jason-fucking-Green happened." There was a hint of annoyance in Dom's voice. "The bastard boasted about his kiss with Annie, but he put a little spin to it."

"What the fuck? What do you mean he kissed Annie?" Jake asked impatiently, his hands clenching into fists.

Dom placed a hand on Jake's shoulder in an attempt to calm him down. "It was after you tried to help her up. You were kind of already drunk at that time; I'm not surprised that you don't know."

"Just...tell me," he said a little louder.

"Look, I don't really know what exactly happened, alright? The only thing that I saw was she was still passed out on the couch and Jason was all over her: Hands and tongue and everything. I interfered but it looked like Annie was out cold, so I got her out of the party—"

"Along with me, and she stayed the night at my place..." Jake finished.

Dom nodded and the two boys were silent for a while.

"Why didn't you call Camilla then and brought Annie there?"

Dom held his gaze for a moment before swallowing. "I don't have her number."

"Why would you delete her number for, you bitter bastard?" Jake said.

"She's not gonna answer if she sees me calling," Dom argued.

"She will if it involves Annie."

"Besides, she changed her number a few days after we broke up."

Jake didn't respond.

"Who's bitter now, bastard?" Dom smirked.

"Don't get too cocky." Jake punched him in the shoulder. "So that's all that happened then?"
