A Dream Come True (Completed)

the war starts

When we got on the bus Evan looked at me with his concerned brown eyes "are you ok?" He asked "im fine" I say rubbing my arm. I leaned my head on his shoulder and closed my eyes, until we got to my house.

I ran to the door and unlocked it, Evan following shortly after "do you have to run every where you go?" He says sounding breathless. When we were in I went to the kitchen immediatly "go upstairs" I yell to Evan and hear his foot steps going up the stairs.

I mixed the ingredients together getting flower on my face and clothes. I pull my phone out and text Nikki.

Me: want to come over for some cake?

Nikki: will there be pizza?

Me: I can arrange that

Nikki: awesome ill be over in ten

Me: ok see you then

I put my phone up and butter the pan, when its fully covered in butter I spread the cake batter throughout the pan and stick it in the preheated over. I wash my hands and tackle my next task, ordering pizza.

When I got off the phone with the pizzaria I sigh and sit down when I hear something fall in my room. I sneek upstairs to see the door was left open I peek in the doorway "oh shes going to be so mad" Evan whispers.

"Mad about what?" I ask stepping into the room "oh uh nothing" he says stuttering "whatever you did its ok" I say trying to calm him down. "I uh knocked your emoji poop cup over and it shattered" he says as his breaths increased.

"Oh ok that can be fixed" I say and walk over to the shards and pick them up "im so sorry" Evan says as I finish up "its ok, this cup is just a thing" I say. Honestly I was kind of upset that it broke but I wasnt going to show it to Evan.

I run to the kitchen and check the cake then pull it out, when I get the cake on the stove top. A knock comes at the door and in comes Nikki "hey girl" I say and run to hug her. "Hey Lexi, oh that looks delicious" she says eyeing the cake "well it was a surprise for you and Evan so surprise!" I yell.

The pizza came a few minutes after Nikki arrived, when I brought the pizza in I wafted the smell upstairs and Evan came running down the stairs almost tripping. "Lets eat" Nikki yells as everyone grabs a paper plate, mom walked in half way though our first slice.

"Welcome home mom!" I yell and scramble over to hug her "its so nice to see your not alone and mopping" she says and sets at the table. "Oh yea, thanks for bringing that up mom" I mutter and grab my slice of pizza.

When everyone was done eating Evan, Nikki, and I ran to my room to do whatever we do. Nikki was texting someone and giggled a few times, Evan an I just laid on the floor.

Another chapter is out now next chapter will have some fighting so beware of that, anyways hope ya enjoyed see ya next chapter, Bye!!!!!
