"We've got to go all-out, faking our love."

"Oh, there you go again, darling!" Bethany replied cheerfully

"You shouldn't speak in such a confusing way!"

"So incredibly fair-skinned as a bean sprout!"

"What the hell?" Trevor said

"So you guys are head-over-heels in love, after all."

"How did this happen?" Connor asked

"Can't you see it's no use complaining?" Bethany replied

"Now that's it's come to this, we just have to go through with it. Connor replied

"I know we're a couple, but what are we suppose to do?" Bethany asked

"How should I know?" Connor replied

"It's not like I dated someone before!"

"Neither have i , for your information, not even once!" Bethany replied

"It just would've been awkward if we'd left things like that." Bethany replied

"You cam go ahead and show your grateful gratitude."

"But what the heck is that thing?" Bethany asked

"I mean, it really seems important to you."

"Is it a keepsake from someone who died?"

"It was given to me, years ago." Connor replied

"Years ago?" Bethany asked

"When I was a kid my dad took me somewhere on a trip." Connor said

"I got to be friends with this girl."

"She said let's meet again."

"And gave this to me as a symbol of our reunion."

"I can't remember either her face or name."

"The one thing I remember is that promise."

"I just have a feeling that if I hold onto it, I'll get to see her again."

"You hate that kind of thing, don't you?"

"Dwelling on the past and all..."

"What I hate is the kind of guy who keeps brooding over past mistakes."

"And other things that he can't possibly change."
