Chapter 3 - Clover

Sorry if my book is going bad its my first book. Anyways chapter 3.

*Dads POV*
"She just  ran out the door we dont know where she'll go, I've got to go get her, " I say worriedly. "No, Dale just give her time, she'll come around." "I hope...." I heard Ashley  whisper to herself. As I waited I went to take a shower. I got to a window and looked out to see of I could see her out there. She should be OK I guess she's probably in the stables or something. I continued up the stairs.  Went into the bathroom and started to take a hot shower.

*Mom's POV*
I was worried about her. I wasn't sure if she would come back. It was almost lunch time so I guess she would be hungry. After all she just took in. I said to myself in my head. I started to make some peanut butter, banana, honey sandwiches with a side of chips and dip.

  I finished all 4 sandwiches. Tossed a couple chips on the plates and splatted some dip onto the plates. Well more like salsa dip.

*Haileys POV*
I got to a stall that seemed as if there was not a horse in it but I couldn't really see because my eyes were filled with tears. As I sat down for a couple minutes letting all my tears flow out. I felt a sort of gentle shove, as I looked up I seen a bay and white mix colored horse standing like a tower over me.

I let out a big gasp "whoa I didn't see u there fella."
   I stood up carefully as I was told to do around horses,  if not they will spook and either one of us could get hurt. I gently stroked the beautiful horses long nose it was so soft, and his eyes were sparkling with wildness. I knew he wanted to be free but he just managed living with people. How?  I do not know,  I think its much harder being a human than being a horse.
I thought for a while how much more free I would feel as a horse, running through the wide open plains jumping through the wind... "Haileyyyyy?.." Suddenly my calming and relaxing thoughts broke. I realized I'd been gone for a while so I decided to go back to the house realizing my mom called me. I quickly gave the horse I was with a pat on the side "bye boy see ya later." I soon wandered to the house realizing I never found out the name of the horse. I soon walked in with mom having a worried look on her face when she seen me coming to the house but she sort of looked relieved. Duh Hailey why wouldn't she be relieved I'm so dumb sometimes.

*Dads POV*
I had been in my room combing my hair down when I heard the kitchen door shut. It must  be Hailey?! I quickly made my way downstairs not trying to slip on the hardwood. I seen Ashley and Hailey downstairs talking amongst themselves. I regretted telling her about the farm, but I finally got the guts to talk to her again "Hey, there are you ok?" I hated asking her this knowing that she wasn't. She paused for a sec from talking to Ashley and I could barely hear her utter "um..... Sure" then she spoke up "its not like the farm is going to be sold right daddy.?" She then stomped up the stairs not even finishing her conversation with her mother.

*Haileys POV*
I stomped up the stairs not even thinking about the sarcasm I just threw out at my dad. Well, I'm upset and I think I should have a right to feel this way so yeah. I quickly ran as I got to the top of the stairs. The door of my room was already open so I didn't have to stop.  So I ran and flopped down on my bed sobbing in my pillow.

I woke up moving from the wetness on my pillow. I must have fell asleep crying. Man does crying make me sleepy. I picked up my phone which said 5:10, man i slept for a long time. Oh man am I hungry. I remembered that tommarow Gracye wants me to come over.
     I slowly walked downstairs and yawned.  I really wanted to see the horse I met in the barn today and I really wanted to know his name. Could it be Bud, Buddy, Bentley, Rover, it could be anything. As I thought deep into what his name could be Mom interrupted me with a simple "well hello sleeping beauty " ugg I hate being called names like a princess. News flash IM NOT A PRINCESS GEEZ. After my mind bliw up i politly say "hey" and I go to the pantry and grab some peanut butter/honey/banana to make a sandwich. I quickly scarf that down and maybe that wasn't such a good idea. I then hear dad come in from outside this was my chance. "Hey dad what's that horses name on like the end of the stable, the brown and white beauty?"I asked quickly. "Hmm let me think a sec....... OH that is Clover" he said after like two minutes." Thank u " I say. He responds with "anytime." Hmm I guess I just haven't been down that far in the barn before. Once dad goes upstairs to wash up I get up and go to mom who is cooking some dinner that won't be done for like another two hours. "Hey mom can I go to Grayces house tommarow she invited me and Tori." I asked with a begging like tone. "Ummm.. Hailey I don't kno...." Before she could finish I cut her off "pleaseeeeeee" I then gave her the puppy dog face and of course she gave in. "Fine but is it like a sleep over?" She asked with a questioning look. "No just for like most the day" I quickly responded. Ok, as long as its not a sleepover, " She said.
    I walked upstairs and texted Grayce.
Hailey: "Hey my mom said I could come over it just can't be a sleepover."

Grayce: "Ok good it won't be there to pick you up at 8am is that good?"

Hailey: "Ya that's perfectly fine see ya soon love ya ❤️ "

Grayce: "k love ya❤❤"

Mom called us down not to long after that. We were eating some beef stew and cornbread. Mmmm I love this stuff. We soon were all at the table we held hands and prayed, then we stuffed our faces. After that I told everyone goodnight and went up stairs changed into some Nike spandex and an old T-shirt and fell right to sleep.

A/N: Hey guys so I was actually gonna not do the book and quit but my friends talked me back into it. Sorry I tried to quit on it.!:(
