Chanyeol instantly fell in love when he met Baekkie but made the biggest mistake when he rejected Taeyeon and things got more complicated when he met Baekhyun.
"Good evening Mr Park. It's good to see you again" a man in his mid thirties whose name he doesn't remember greeted Chanyeol as the settled on the same table at the fundraising dinner.
"Its good to see you too" Chanyeol responded as politely as possible.
He hated having to interact with so many humans at once.
Remember he was a vampire and had to worry about blood lust.
He had a good control over his hunger but once in a while he would catch a nice scent which usually meant the best tasting blood which was difficult to resist.
If he wasn't feeding on the blood packs Sehun stacked in his fridge at home, he would feed on a random stranger who he would glamour into forgetting it ever happened.
Only in his first years of being a vampire, mixed with depression of losing Baekkie, did he actually give into the blood lust and kill his victims, but now he had full control and didn't allow himself to lose his humanity.
He avoided feeding on people who he would meet again because they tend to get attached.
This was the problem he had with Maya. She had that type of scent he couldn't resist but feeding on her was his biggest mistake.
He glamoured her into forgetting but she was still clingy. She misinterpreted the connection with attraction and she was extremely annoying.
Chanyeol stood up and went to the hotels outdoor garden when he saw Maya heading in his direction. He was not in the mood to deal with her.
"Chanyeol wait" Maya called out as she caught up with Chanyeol.
"That's Mr Park to you" he responded as he turned to her with a frown.
"Don't be like that Chanyeol. I missed you. Why have you been ignoring me?" She asked with a pout as she took a step towards him and he took a step back.
"Because I don't want to talk to you. Is that good enough reason for you?" He responded with a straight face.
"But i..."
"Oh there you are. I hope you didn't wait too long" she was cut off by another woman who stood next to Chanyeol and wrapped her small delicate hands around his arm and facing Maya before Chanyeol could get a good look at her.
"I hope I'm not interrupting anything" she said as she gave Maya an innocent smile.
Maya didn't respond but instead looked at how she clung onto Chanyeol before she frowned, turned around and walked back into the hotel.
She was obviously angry but Chanyeol was glad she had left. Maybe now she would stop bothering him.
"Sorry about that" the strange woman apologised as soon as Maya was out of sight. She also let go of Chanyeol's hand and turned to face him.
"I was close by and it looked like you needed help. I hope I didn't cross the line" she said and he was speechless.
He stared into the familiar dark brown eyes he dreamed of every night.
Her long golden brown hair was tied into a messy bun and she was dressed in pretty blue dress that showed off her collar bones.

"You must be wondering who I am considering the way you're staring at me" she said before giving him the beautiful box smile he had missed so dearly, "My name is Baekkie. Byun Baekkie. What's your name?" She asked after introducing herself.
"Chanyeol. Park Chanyeol" he responded with a smile.
"Its nice to meet you Mr Park" she said maintaining her smile.
"Its nice to meet you Miss Byun" he responded with a smile.
'Finally we can be together again.' He thought to himself.
