Chapter 28:
Begged for love
"Oh my god! I missed this place so much!" I exclaimed and ran towards the beach. I ripped my shoes off and dug my toes in the warm, welcoming sand. The water splashed playfully on my feet and I let the breeze carry me to an unknown place.
I guess I was probably the most excited one, the girls squealed in happiness but the guys only smirked at us.
"A private beach house! You've got to be kidding me! I've always wanted one!" Katie squealed and ran up to Archer then kissed his cheek over and over again. The poor boy stiffened and his eyes wide open due from the shock. Vincent growled and she pulled away from my mate with a slight blush.
She apologized playfully and ran in the arms of my big brother who held her tightly against his chest. Archer smirked lovingly at them and looked at me with a big smile spread across his face.
Drew and Kelly already went inside to unpack their bags in the room they share. Ryder went inside too, he said something about a big boy needing his food so I'm guessing he went to eat.
But then something churned in the pit of my stomach. I didn't like this uneasy feeling and because of it I knew things weren't over yet. Just because we escaped doesn't mean we can hide forever.
Then it hit me.
Someone was missing.
It wasn't a good missing either.
I looked around but I couldn't tell who was missing and yet it feels like I should. Like this person should always be on my mind, but I guess not.
This is really worrying me.
I saw Archer frown as he looked at me and he speed walked in my direction, it quickly morphed into a jog and in not time his arms were around my waist and our chest were pressed against each other.
"What's wrong baby? You seem kind of pale." He asked and stroked my cheek with his right hand. Sparks soared threw my cheeks and I leaned in his hand loving the warm feeling.
"I have a bad feeling." I admitted looking in his blue eyes.
Damn him and his eyes.
"About what?" He spoke softly.
"About E. I have a feeling it's not over and I think someone is missing, I'm not sure. I don't know, everyone's here so maybe it's just the uneasy feeling that's playing with me." I said and looked away.
This feeling inside of me, it's like I'm three quarters empty, like I forgot something somewhere, as if I'm naked. It's not comfortable and I don't know why I'm feeling like this.
"You think someone is missing?" Archer questioned, I noticed his right eye twitching and when his eye is twitching it means he's thinking hard about something.
"Yeah" I answered and he looked back at the beach house. I saw him scan every region like he has laser eyes, seeing threw walls and when his glare came back to me, he held a confused expression.
"I'm actually not sure who could be missing. We're all here. I don't know what could have given you that feeling but I believe you because it's growing in me now. But you have to know that just because I quit working with that abomination won't mean she'll back off with her hands in the air. In fact I think she would want your head on a silver platter pretty soon." Archer explained and I growled at the fact she won't leave us alone. It's like she's just an itch I can't scratch.
"Why does she want me dead so badly? What have I ever done to her to deserve this? I don't even know who she is!" I exclaimed angrily and Archer nodded then he raised his eyebrows.
