Stupid in Love?

Chapter1

It was late at night and Katy was up watching her favourite series once again. She could watch The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air & laugh at the same thing over & over again & never get bored.

" ha ha ha " Katy laughed as Will Smith did something funny again.

Her eyes was glued to the television, with a bowl of popcorn on her lap & a bottle of coca cola at her side. She didn't want to miss a single thing although she knew exactly what would happen next and as soon as she was about to put some more popcorn in her mouth her phone began to ring.

*all my single ladies, all my single ladies*

" Hi James ! " ,she answered.

" Hey Katy , what's up? " ,her friend James replied.

" Nothing much, just here..." she replied.

" Wait lemme guess! watching Fresh Prince of Bel- Air again aren't you? " he said.

She laughed. " Hahaha yes James that's exactly what I'm doing ! "

" I know, that's all you do every night! I don't know what's so great about that show Katy. "  he replied. 

" What are you talking bout? this show is amazing! greatest series ever made ! maybe it because you haven't watched it as yet! " She said.

" haha well maybe I need to come & watch it with you too she what's so great about it! "  he replied

" you definitely need too, hit me up when your ready to be amazed! haha "  she said.

" haha , yes Katy I know I will " , he smiled. " but I really called to find out if your still coming over today for my little brother birthday party ? "

" ofc, thanks for reminding me, I already have this present too! ", She replied " I wouldn't miss it for the world ! , how old will he be? "

" 16 , he's turning 16 " he replied.

" Aww sweet 16? well you can definitely count on me being there! "

" Great ! well enjoy you night & you show! see you tomorrow. " he said.

" Sure & same to you James, good night " she said and then hung up the phone.

She put her on the television again only to realize that the show was over.

" Aww man! " she exclaimed & took of the television. While finishing up her popcorn & coca cola she texted James.

Kady ; thanks for making  me miss the rest of my show :p

James ; I did? :p

Kady ; you did that on purposely, didn't you? :I :)

James ; ofc not, what kind of friend would I be if I did ? Lol don't worry you'll thank me for it one day! :p

Kady ; Lol no I won't :p

James ; yes you would.. now aren't you suppose to be sleeping?

Kady glanced at the time. it was 1:54 pm.

Kady ;  wow i didn't know it was so late...but why are you still up?

James ; last minute party preparations. :D

Kady ; oh well have fun then :p I'm going to sleep :) good night James..

James ; Good night , sweet dreams Kady :D

I then put down the phone on her nearby dresser and went to sleep.
