Next door and beyond

First day

~ first day ~

( Finn's pov )

It was the first day of school in this town. I was nervous about walking into a new school even though I have done it so many times. And I was also nervous about seeing y/n again, she just made me feel so happy it was so amazing how we connected after knowing each other for one day. And we have already kissed. I put on my top, hoodie, and some black jeans. I really don't know what the fashion is like at this school. I run down stair with my backpack witch only has One blunt pencil and one note book in it.
And say good morning to my mum. She seems super happy here almost more happy than anywhere else we have lived. She says '' good morning sweetie.'' I smile as I sit at the table as she serves me a plate of hot pancakes covered in syrup. She gets a phone call about when dad is going to be back from his work trip. And I finish my breakfast and give her a kiss on the cheek before leaving. I grab my bike and ride over to the next door neighbours yard where I see y/n walking out the front door. She says ''hey'' I say hi back and then we start riding a bike's to school together. We approach the school that is only five minutes away from our houses. We walking to school together as I get a rush of nervous feelings. She taps me on the top of the head and says you'll be fine. I smile and park my bike. She points me to spare locker where I throw my bag and helmet in. Then we walk into class she says have fun I'll see you at recess. I haven't made any friends yet I sit in first period alone getting used to my new teacher. As soon as the bell rings I run out and try and find y/n. I see her across the locker room she says I'll meet you out there in 10 minutes. I shout over the loud noises 'k'. I start walking when I hear a group of boys saying 'hey what's your name' I could already tell that these were the cool boys of the school I reply with 'finn' they say 'cool come hang out with us' I don't have any friends so I'm willing to join in. I guess I'll meet up with y/n later. The whole recess the boys are talking about sport and typical guy things I guess I've made my first group of friends they seem to really like me. It's better then some of the other friends I had at my old school. The rest of the day I hang out with those group of boys. As soon as the end of school bell rings I go over to my bike and see y/n getting on hers. I run over to her and get on my bike she asks me how my day was and how she didn't see me at snack or lunch. I tell her about the friends I hang out with that day. She Starts to tell me how they are the popular boys of the school I feel kind of honoured to be part of the group. She then starts to tell me how they are not nice to her and to watch out they don't really care about your feelings I think that you're good looking and will attract girls to the group.  I guess I should take her advice since it's my first day but I tell her that I will talk to them tomorrow about it. She says no immediately. We talk about it some more on the way home. She says she will see me tomorrow. I wounded why I can't tell them about us...
