I began pacing back and forth in my study room. I can't believe they destroyed my living room! But what I really can't believe is why I never felt mad until now, at first I didn't have a reason to be mad, all we were doing was having a simple pillow fight. But now, after thinking about it, I realized how mad I am!

"Argh! I have to turn myself back!" I growled to myself. The spell was doing something to me an I know it, it didn't only change my physical appearance but at all possibilities, my mental stability.

"It's messing with my head!" I picked up the book that I used when I messed up and flipped through it. Maybe there is a reverse spell or a redo or something....

After skimming through all most the whole book, I came upon a page that had big black letters spelling 'rewrite'

"I guess I can try this..." mumbling to myself, I steadied the book with one hand and cleared my throat.

I spoke the words as they were on the page, never messing any up....
At the last word, I took a deep breathe and let it out.

Just then a flash of light, as bright as the sun, filled the room. I shrieked in pain as my eyes began to sting. My hands quickly went over my eyes as they closed to stop the burning, only to be followed my a singeing sound.

"BLOODY HELL!" The light disappeared in a blink of an eye, like nothing happened.

I've heard of these kin of things. That the magic bounces off and burns off into the air. I think the spell that changed me, had a protective barrier, that's why the magic blew up in front of me because it couldn't get past the barrier!

"This is just great!" Sarcasm laced in my words. I rubbed my still burning eyes, now realizing that I was kneeling on the floor.

Well there was another spell failure...
I removed my hands and blinked multiple times. Did the power go off from the burst? The room was pitch dark, so dark that I could hardly tell if my eyes were open or not.

"What the hel-" I stopped when I realized that this room has a window, so even if the power did go out, the light from outside would shine through.

My heart began to race as I shakily stood up from the floor. Gripping into the side table, I let out a breathe I forgot I was holding while moving my hand in front of my face.

"I-I'm blind....."
