A-Alone isn't always the worst thing
So, I woke up at my normal time 5:15. I wake up that early so I know how much time I have left before I have to actually get up.
So I woke up for real at 6:10 and started to get ready. Then I realized that all of my clothes were in our downstairs area. Great.
So I left my warm cocoon and got black yoga pants and a pink and orange shirt. I especially like this shirt because it makes me look not fat.
No, I'm not one of those girls who are like "OMG I AM SO FAT!" And weigh like 90 pounds, that's not me. I weigh somewhere around 135-140 pounds and I don't diet or anything like that. I'm okay with my chub, but sometimes it makes me insecure.
So, I continued getting ready and all of that jazz and I was ready to go just a bit later than usual.
My breakfast was chocolate milk, a yogurt, and I kid you not, a piece of bread.
My dad and I went to go and pick up my friend Carrie and we talked a lot in the car about how YouTube video ideas. We already have a few good ones that we could make.
There was also a story on the radio about a four-year old kid getting mauled to death by pitbulls.
When we got to school, we sat at the first table where Olia had saved our seats, like usual. I was about to take out my iPod when my boyfriend, Mark, walked up and sat down next to me.
I always feel a bit awkward around him, and it's probably because I'm not used to being feminine and being in a relationship doesn't usually imply me being not girly if that makes any sense.
When the math teacher dismissed us from the cafeteria, Mark and I went to math. Yay.
He went to his locker and I stood in the line with my friends Mel, Helena, and Connil, who were fangirling about the new pokemon game. Mel was tormenting the other two because they need a 3DS and neither of them have one but she does. When our teacher opened the door, we sat down and took our seats for about 5 seconds until we started moving again.
You see, no one really respects our math teacher because he never throws anyone out and is always doesn't care what we do as long as we get good grades. And someone legit got 180% last marking period. No joke.
So he talked after the announcements for a while about the tests on quadratic binomials and pythagorean theorem and the final.
We finished up the chapter about dividing square roots and perfect square patterns with a few minutes to spare.
I got to see another guy, named Matt, who came back from the international Irish dancing championship in Ireland, and he won first! I can officially say I know a world champion now!
Then I went to band. Normally it's pretty boring because the music is easy and I'm really advanced, but today was amazing! My band teacher had to get groups set up for a trip that I'm not going on, so me, Lauren, and Zoey just sat there reading fanfics and being weird for an hour. We got about ten minutes of practice time the entire rehearsal!
Lunch was pretty standard. I ate, but my friend forgot to bring a bag of popcorn to make in the senior lounge, so that wasn't fun. Towards the end of lunch, Mark gave me a hug and a mint, like he always does.
Then I went to choir. The first thing I noticed was that Carrie was gone, which was weird. And that all of the upper-classmen were taking a state test, so it was only like 20 of us! Which was great!
We got to rehearse more becuase we didn't talk between songs or anything like that. We rehearsed the "Bellas Finale" from Pitch Perfect first. I know, my choir director is pretty cool to let us do the Pitch Perfect finale. The awkward thing was I was the only alto 1 person there, so I had to do the part all be myself! So when it got to the Breakfast Club section, I had to sing the "do do do do do do" part by myself (anyone who has seen the movie knows what I'm talking about.) Our student eacher looked at me like 'I know your awkward situation. Just keep going.' And the "Give Me Everything" was an alto 1 sectional solo too, so I did that too. And then I sand my solo at the end and we sang "Sing To Me," a really pretty arrangement ment for college voices.
But what can I say, we're the best around. Then we talked about our trip to Disney next year, stories of my vocal teacher, and a lot of other stuff. Then we rehearsed the "Schubert Mass in G." 22 minutes of straight Latin.
We did well until we hit a part in the third movement (song) that only I knew. So when I sang it right, a girl named Alyssa said "Well Anna's just killin' it." We kept rehearsing and we got to a part with a three page long solo. My friend, Celeste, does it, but has abit of trouble keeping time. So my teacher asked me if I wanted to sing it.
I looked like a deer in the headlights. He said "Don't give me the eyes," and I responded with "I don't know it." Then he asked the popular girl if she wanted to do it, and she got up and did it with Celeste. I thought it was a solo all by myself thing! I would've done it if i knew it was group!
Then the bell rang and I switched risers. We had activity period next, which is normally a 30 minute break in the day where we do nothing, but we had to rehearse the "Mass in G" with the orchestra. I saw Mark and the two girls names Sally whispering. One of them asked me what my favorite flowers and colors were. I didn't know what to say, but luckily my music teacher started the rehearsal so Mark had to go the the tenor section.
The rehearsal went almost flawlessly and we got through the entire thing in just two minutes after the bell rang!
Next was social studies. We reveiwed out state test review booklet, and then finished our portfolio for "Project Citizen." Well, the graphic designers did. I just stayed back and talked to my friends and my friends by extension.
Then i went home and watched YouTube, ate dinner, wrote this, and did english homework!
I hope you all liked the first day of this! Tomorrow is the Spring Fling, or big formal dance, so ya! Love ya lots bai!! :)
