B-Be prepared for anything
So, I woke up earlier and did my normal morning routine and went to go pick up Carrie. She left school because she was sick yesterday. We talked like we always do, yadda yadda.
When we got to school, she told me that she was "going to go through with something." At first I was really scared. But then she told me that she was going to break up with her boyfriend.
That made me feel a bit better, but I questioned a bit. When we got to the cafeteria, she did it and we walked to out first class. Mine was english and hers was social studies, which are conveniently right next to each other.
Carrie was sad, but my friends and I were there for her. In english, we turned in our homework and we watched Frozen, and then re-watched it. Nothing much to it really.
Then we went to vocal where we went through the "Mass in G", "Sing, Sing, Sing", and "Defying Gravity." It was good and we just had a regular day.
Lunch was lunch, I ate and got a soft pretzel.
Then I went to science where we did our project presentations and did a lesson on paper chromatography. We put paper with a pen dot on it and watched the colors of the pen separate. It looked pretty though.
Then we went to activities where Mark sat next to me for the first part and put his arm around me. But then he had to sit in the tenor section and we got through the entire thing.
Then we went to business. Yay. I learned about Microsoft Excel and did four assignments. Carrie and I put in my music and did our work until our teacher called up people who were in danger of failing. Surprising Carrie was one of them, but that was because she didn't turn in a few assignments.
Then I started work on my 2015 calendar layout. I'm thinking of making a YouTuber calendar, gamer calendar, and an anime calendar for some of my friends.
Then to after school rehearsal for the mass. Unfortunately people in my grade don't know how to shut up for more than 5 seconds, so we got yelled at a lot. I was supposed to get a ride home from Carrie, but she thought the practice ended half an hour later than it actually did.
So, after the rehearsal Carrie, Chloe, and I went to the club they go to called RPG Club. I sat down and did nothing because I don't know how to play RPG's, but then I found out they were doing an "Avatar: The Last Airbender" themed story and I was SO jealous! I love that show!
I got driven home and watched, like, two videos and then I had to get my dress on and my hair done. I never realized that simply curling my hair actually took like 30 minutes.
I said goodbye to my grandparents and brothers and went to Celeste's house. She looked AMAZING in her dress. It was purple that was high in the front but low in the back. I did my makeup there and helped her do hers. Our moms took pictures and we went to the dance
I almost lost my tickets on the way there, but we found it. We talked on the way there and when we arrived, my mom wanted to meet Mark. My mom took our picture and I went to go and say hi to my friends.
A lot of people and my friends complimented me. But I must have looked really good because the QUEEN of our grade complimented me.
Carrie got in a bit later, and she looked good too. I kinda abandoned Mark for a bit and danced with my friends for a while. There was a lot of drama involving Mark because I heard he was trying to kiss me!
I refused to. But our friend helped Mark and I clear it up. He thought I was going to break up with him over it. But I'm not like that. We walked along until the DJ announced a "slow song." But that song was "Let it Go." I told Mark that I wasn't much of a dancer. Then they played "All of Me."
I was doubtful at first, but then he said "We can try, if you want." So, I decided to. I put my hands around his neck and he put his hands on my hips. We started singing along and looking into each other's eyes. It was cute, but in the middle of the song someone came up and said "You guys are so cute! I'm crying!"
It kinda spoiled the mood, but not really. In the end, we were both smiling and grinning like idiots. We walked out of the gym and got a bit of smile. They announced the king and queen, and everyone thought I would win. But I didn't. And I didn't care.
We walked out and saw my friend Alnise asking for a needle and thread. She had torn her dress, so I went to the bathroom with her. I had a bad wedgie, so I undid that and we ripped the bottom off. I saw Maya red-eyed and I asked what was wrong and she told us that the boy she asked straight up rejected her! The nerve of some people!
We tore off the hem and made it her "scarf," But when I left, a girl from the grade above me came up to me and nearly yelled, "Who was that boy you were dancing with!? Like everyone was crying!" I shook it off and Mark and I walked around and talked until they played "Bohemian Rhapsody."
Mark requested it. But what really made me happy was that the DJ gave the microphone to a guy who has autism at our school and let him sing along. And all of the people at the dance gathered around him and mosh-pitted around him and screamed "I love you!" It really made my faith in humanity increase.
My mom and Celeste's mom picked us up and we went back to her house to pick up our car. We talked about how i was dropping band next year and preferences to get into the high school.
