The ABC's Of Life

Hehe...

So, I know its been along time since I've updated this book, and a lot has happened.

I got out of school, I went to Maine on  missions trip (which was INCREDIBLE), went to Minnesota for vacation, went to Dorney Park for my birthday, and a lot of relaxing.

But now I have a quick rant. Yeah, I know, I don't really rant.

This rant is about grammar.

Okay, I am kinda a grammar Nazi. Whenever someone says "Me and my friend" I cringe. Seriously, did you not get it the first time I asked you about that?

Oh, and those people who don't know how to use punctuation. This one annoys the living crap out of me!

"Tell me,Alana,Beatrice,Coleen,Ava,Reilegh,and Maya what you think." I think that you need to go back to second grade, because you can obviously spell words, but don't know how to press the largest key on a keyboard, the SPACEBAR! Put a freaking SPACE after a COMMA. I honestly can't stand it!

I honestly picture some dumb blonde (I'm blonde and only some blondes are especially dumb, not all of them. I do not perpetuate that stereotype) sitting behind a computer, chewing gum and twirling her hair while typing this. Some people just... I can't.

Also, those people who have run on sentences. Can they absolutely not?! I know everyone has like one or two run on sentences, but the comma key is on the keyboard for a reason.

"I'm just a normal girl who likes to wear makeup and converse and vans and a lot of blue and black skinny jeans with some blue and I really love the color red and I like to eat a lot of pizza and I like to drink Diet Coke every day."

I'm not sorry, but when this happens, I imagine a chipmunk on crack saying whatever the person is actually saying. I can not take anyone seriously with this.

Another thing, when people don't capitalize the letter after a period.

"So, what's your favorite color? mines blue."

After punctuation, the word IMMEDIATELY after had a capital first letter! Basic language skills, I'm not sorry.

That and when someone doesn't put a space after a period.

"Hi my name's Amanda.who are you?"

Seriously people?! I thought we were supposed to go to school so they could teach us!! Apparently I was wrong because we have these people! I mean what do they do in school all day?

Oh! That guys cute! How do I make him like me?

Eew, that girls ugly.

This is boring.

When's lunch?

OMG I'VE BEEN IN THIS CLASSROOM FOR LIKE HALF AN HOUR WITHOUT INSTAGRAM! SOMEONE KILL ME!

Don't even get me started on misspellings! Now I know that this is inevitable and that I make them too, but when it's every other word, I get a little bit angry.

"And so he sed 'Bab I jus wana tel u somthin" and I was lik 'Alrite wat is it?' "

*Flips table*

Auto-correct was invented for a reason! And even though it screws me over on a daily basis, I still need it! And even on Wattpad, there's a spell check.

These people are the cancer of humankind! Seriously, these are the people are going to be reproducing! We have too many problems to deal with without these people  infecting the smart ones!

Now I'm not saying that everyone who make these mistakes are dumb or idiotic, I'm just saying that they are a bit  "special" if you know what I mean.

Just needed to get that off of my chest.
