"i envy you." those were the words that minho muttered to the younger the first time they met since he left the company.

why? he got eliminated out of the show. ashamed of what happened, minho decided to leave for good. he's got no face to show to his members, to the other trainees, and even to his family.

it was earlier that morning when minho texted jisung to meet him up on the nearest playground. the younger was eager to meet his hyung, for he missed him so much. minho broke contact with them and it was the first time he tried to contact with any of the members.

meet me at the playground nearby
8pm sharp
don't tell them.

those were the messages that jisung got that morning. he got excited when he received those first three ones, then he got confused as to why his hyung doesn't want him to tell others.

it was almost 8, the group were done practicing for the next mission jyp gave them.

"guys! i'm heading out." jisung told the group of boys.

"where you heading at, kid?" chan, their leader, asked while wiping the sweat on his forehead.

"uhm.. tㅡthe.." he stuttered, then remembered what minho texted him.

"to tㅡthe convenience sㅡtore, hyung." he lied. he doesn't know why but he got nervous after saying that. what if he got caught?

jisung wasn't that type of person. but this time, he did it. maybe for his hyung, he doesn't know.

"oh! buy us chips and drinks then! we'll pay you later." his other hyung, woojin, lazily smiled at him. "we're exhausted, is it okay?"

"yㅡyes. of course, hyung." jisung broke eye contact with him. "just pay me later."

"okay." he heard him say.

"let jeongin accompany you, it's dark already." chan suggested while looking at the youngest person in the room since they're the only ones left behind.

"hyung... im tired." jeongin whined, dramatically falling down on the floor.

"pfft, scaredy cat." he thought.

"hyung, it's fine. the store's just around the corner anyway. plus, i'm not a kid anymore." jisung reassured him.

"well, if you say so. just take care, okay? call us if you're in trouble or something." chan patted him on the shoulder.

"i'll heading out now, bye." jisung grabbed his phone and wallet then walked out of the room. minutes after, he's out of the building.

he realized, there's this eerie feeling the moment he stepped out of the building.

jisung looked around, then he walked the opposite way of the convenience store. he knows he's selfish, they all missed his hyung. yet there he isㅡlying, but he badly missed minho. what could go wrong with a small lie, right?

the cold night air greeted his skin, he wished he wore a jacket or something, he started to rub his arms.

the street that leads to the playground barely have post lights, and there's not much people around this timeㅡhe noticed.

jisung started to have goosebumps, he felt as if someone's watching his every move. he almost regretted meeting up with his hyung or not having any companion.
