Free hotel breakfasts

Hayley woke up to a pounding on her hotel room door. She jumped up and hurried over to the door, panicking at what could possibly going on.

When she flung the door open, she saw Tyler standing in the hallway looking scared.

"Hayley, have you seen him? I've asked everyone else but nobody has seen him," Tyler said in a jumbled mess.

"Josh? Yeah, he's in here. He fell asleep here." Hayley said, moving aside so Tyler could walk into the room.

"Yo bro, why did you just disappear from me last night? Had me freaking out worried where the hell you went." Tyler yelled at Josh who still hadn't quite woken up yet.

"I'm fine, now will you quit yelling at me. I just woke up. I'll be back in the room in five," Josh said before yawing and rolling over.

"Whatever," Tyler said before storming out of the room.

Josh groaned before climbing out of the bed. "Guess that's my cue to leave."

"Yeah, I gotta get changed anyway before breakfast. I'll see ya down there." Hayley said while the two of them headed towards the door. Josh hesitated before kissing her on the forehead and then headed out of the room without looking back.

Hayley headed downstairs to where the free hotel breakfast was being served thirty minutes later. Thoughts about the kiss, as small and quick as it was, kept racing through her head. Why was it on the forehead, why did he do it, does he like me, why couldn't have it been on the lips, etc.

She was late, like she was to everything else in life, and saw the gang was taking up two tables in the corner. Even though Paramore was a three piece these days, there were still so many people that were behind the scenes to make the whole thing work. She grabbed a couple pancakes off the buffet table and headed to where Jeremy, Taylor, Justin, Jon and Aaron sat in the middle of a conversation.

"Hey Hayley, come sit over here!" Hayley heard someone call from behind her.

She turned around to see Josh and Tyler sitting with a couple other guys. Hayley shrugged and headed over to the table Josh called her name from.

"Oooh, pancakes, my favorite." Josh said, seeing Hayley's plate as she walked up to the table. He patted the open seat next to him.

Hayley sat down while Josh introduced her to everyone sitting at the table. "This is Mark, he does video and photos for the band. This is Tyler, but everyone calls him Shap, his last name is Shappard, he is our lighting engineer. Over here is Fish, don't mind him, and finally we've got Michael our tour manager." Josh said with a giant smile on his face.

"Wow, big group. Did any of you know each other before this tour?" Hayley asked while she poured syrup on her pancakes.

"Actually, we've all been friends for years. Well, except for Shap. But Mark has known him for a few years. Tyler, Michael, and Mark lived together for years before I joined the band." Josh said.

"Alright everyone, we need to roll out! Grab everything from your rooms and we'll meet back up in the parking lot. Hurry up, we're leaving in twenty minutes. You better not be late, and yes that's directed at you, Hayley." Andrew, Paramore's tour manager yells from the other side of the room.

With that, everyone who wasn't done eating hurried up to finish, then put their dishes in the bin and headed out.

"Come on, let's go upstairs together," Josh said to Hayley when she was finally done eating. Everyone else at their table had already headed out a few minutes before.

Once they got upstairs, Josh walked into Hayley's room with her. The entire elevator ride up they talked nonstop.

"You know, I really like you. It's pretty risky to tell you this on a tour, especially at the beginning, but it's true." Josh said, looking a little nervous, afraid of her reaction.

"Well, it's pretty risky to say this too, but I like you too, " Hayley said with a smile, her face turning bright red.

"I guess you wouldn't mind if I did this then," Josh said, moving towards her, and taking her face in his hands. He then leaned in slowly, ready to stop if she backed away. Hayley stood there wanting him to kiss her more than anything else in the world right then. When their lips met, they both swore there were fireworks. There was a warmth radiating throughout their entire bodies, the source coming from their mouths moving as one.

When they pulled apart, they both began breathing heavily.

Josh was the first to catch his breath and his face lit up with a giant smile. "Wow," was all he could think to say. Hayley just smiled at him, and leaned in again. While they were kissing again, a loud bang on the door made them both jump.

"Let's go Hayley," a man's voice yelled from the other side of the door.

"Guess we have to go," Hayley whispered softly before pulling away from Josh.

Josh left the room after a couple minutes, and they both got ready separately to leave.

Once outside they headed their separate ways. Josh to his van, Hayley to her bus, but they both had giant smiles on their faces.
