Changing Time Zones

Tours in Australia are never long. Especially for bands that aren't from the continent. So the tour is almost over and it's only been going on for not even two weeks.
"I can't believe there's only one show left of this tour. It feels like we just got out here," Josh said, curled up in bed with Hayley.
They had already played for the eastern side of the continent, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane. Now, they had just gotten to the hotel out in Perth a couple nights before the last show of the tour. Unlike the other Australian tours Paramore and many other bands have performed, this one did not travel to New Zealand.
"We pretty much did. It's only a two week gig, and then we're back home." Hayley said before yawning. "Damn, I'm so tired. We just lost three hours of sleep, I'll never get back. Let alone the fact that it's fourteen hours earlier than it is in Nashville right now."
"Please don't remind me. I don't ever want to leave here, especially because it means we're going to be apart. Speaking of, what does this mean for us? Are we just doing this while on tour, or did you want to make us an actual thing? Like be official and spend time together back in the states?" Josh said, sitting up and getting serious.
"I honestly don't know. I want to be with you. I really do. What about you? Do you want to be in a relationship?" Hayley questioned, sitting up as well.
"Of course, Hayley. I really want to be with you. I want the whole package with you. But how can we do this? You live full time in Nashville. I spend my time in LA and Columbus. We're constantly in different time zones, let alone different states. It's going to be awfully hard if we try to make this work. I'm one hundred percent down for doing this, but I need for you be on the same page as me. I get it that you have to tour a lot, and especially after this tour, I know I'm going to be touring a lot too. So we won't be able to spend a lot of time together in person. Do you think you can still commit to this?" Josh asked, concern ringing in his voice.
"Absolutely. I've been in long distance relationships before. I don't know if you know but, I used to date Chad from New Found Glory. We just broke up a few weeks before we came out on tour. We survived the two different bands on tour at different times thing. I can do this, and I want to do this. I really like you, Josh. I really want this to work between us." Hayley said, before kissing Josh on the cheek. She climbed out of the bed then, and bent down to put on her shoes. "Now let's get out of here, because I'm starving."
Hayley and Josh found themselves in front of a sign saying Macca's a few minutes later.
"I don't get it. It looks so much like a McDonald's but it doesn't say McDonald's." Josh said, his voice dropping out.
"But it is a McDonald's dummy. Haven't you ever heard of a Mickey D's? That's the nickname America has given McDonald's, though it's not used that much anymore. But here in Australia, they say Macca's all the time. They're weird like that." Hayley giggled, grabbing Josh's hand and dragging him into the restaurant.
Ten minutes later, they walked out of the restaurant, bags and drinks in hand. They headed over to the the hotel to eat their food in their room.
Hayley put on the tv as soon as they got into the room, forgetting for a few minutes about her hunger.
"Oh my goodness, they're playing Friends. It's honestly the best show ever created. Please tell me you've seen this show." Hayley practically shrieked.
"Uh, like a couple episodes. I don't know. Had to be a while ago tho." Josh said, his voice dropping off because he really couldn't care less.
"What?! How could you not watch friends. It's literally the best show ever created. If I ever was forced to watch one show for the rest of my life, this would be it." Hayley said, taking her eyes off the tv to accuse Josh. "Yes, it's the one when Ross is fine. 'I'm making fajitias' Damn, I really love this show." Hayley said, quoting Ross along with the episode.
"Ooookay," Josh said, picking up the bag of food and grabbing his burger. He started to unwrap his dinner while Hayley continued to enjoy the episode of tv. He sat back, admiring how happy she was to watch tv. He slowly drifted off to sleep then, so content with how his life was playing out right now.
