"I'm just a innocent teenager with his hot girlfriend on a date when somehow we ended up here with ugly. True story." Leo said, with is hands up. Green Arrow didn't even lower his bow, the guy next to him with the 'Mr.Terrific' jacket stepped forward. "Sounds legit. Just one question: how the heck do you explain the whole, hands on fire thing?" Leo looked at his hands, they were still on fire. He immediately extinguished them, "What fire thing?" he said smiling nervously.

Calypso was behind him, not out of fear but out of complete confusion. She had no idea what was going on, were they in trouble? Were they going to get killed? She didn't know what to do so she simply stood out of the way. She didn't want to be put in a situation she didn't understand, much less cause it to get worse. She just wanted to get out of here as soon as possible. She looked around a little to see if she could find a way to escape. Only thing she could think of was jumping out the window and hoping Festus would catch them but the problem was that he was at least a good three miles away and a giant bronze dragon with a few glitches. If she could just manipulate the mist long enough for them to get away. All she needs is time. She closed her eyes, channeling the mist around her. Just keep them talking, Leo.

Green Arrow stepped forward, as he did the guy in the mask went for his gun. Big mistake, Leo thought. Green Arrow shot his arrow right in the shoulder. The impact sent him spinning into the wall.

"Gods damn!" said Leo, his fist was up to his mouth. He turned to look at Green Arrow and then back at the now unconscious guy in the mask. He just had the sudden need to use the bathroom. "Um... We're just gonna go." He took tried to take a step back but then the guy in the hockey mask steeped forward and said, "Move a muscle and I'll shoot you in the face." Leo froze in place. He could feel Calypso behind him, her hands on his back. He honestly didn't know what to do anymore. If he could only reach into his tool-belt and pull out a flash grenade or smoke bomb but he'd be shot before he could even try to.

"You still haven't answered my question." said the other guy.

"Isn't it obvious, hoss? He's a meta." Hockey mask dude said, a slight sound of disgust that Leo manged to her in his voice. Leo knew when someone didn't like him. He had years of experience of getting rejected by pretty girls. He knew how to tell if one was actually friendly just by hearing them talk. To him, this guy hated meta's. Whatever that was.

"Your coming with us." Green arrow said, stepping forward, inches away from Leo.

"Hey, he's just a kid. He's probably not dangerous at all. Are you?" Asked the other guy.

Leo still stood frozen, "Can I please move or will I still get shot?" He said through his lips.

"Oh, yeah. Sure you can move. He wasn't really going to shoot you, right wild dog?"

"Maybe" Wild dog replied. Leo wasn't sure if he was joking or not. He unfroze, stretching his limbs. Calypso was still behind him, her eyes still closed.

"Hey, what she doing?" Wild dog said as he noticed Calypso behind Leo with her eyes closed. Then all of a sudden they heard a roar. They all turned to face the sound, Calypso had her eyes open. It was a Chimera. A part lion, part ram, part snake monster. Leo would've thought it was cool if wasn't now charging straight for them. Leo and Calypso ducked as it leaped over them and towards the Green Arrow and his friends. It snarled and slashed at them but it didn't attack them. The Green Arrow tried shooting an arrow at it but it just passed right through the monster. Leo didn't know what was happening, it wasn't attacking him. Not that he was complaining but still, monsters usually came for the half-bloods first.

"Leo, we have to go now." Said Calypso, tugging Leo's arm.

"We can't, we have to help them." Leo knew that their weapons wouldn't work on the monster, only a demigod could take it down. He wasn't sure if he'd be able to do take it down on his own.

"Leo it's not real. It's just the mist." Calypso said, she was still trying to get him to move.

"Mist? But it looks so real." He said, looking at her with confusion.

"While you were making some new friends I used the mist to create that" she pointed at the monster, "So that we could get away. The only reason I took as long as I did was because I didn't want it to become a real monster."

Leo looked at her with concern, "Are you sure they won't get hurt?

"I'm positive. Now lets go!" She yanked him towards the elevator. Just as the door opened they herd a a scream. Wild dog had been injured, claw marks were on his arms and chest. Leo turned to look at Calypso, "I thought you said they wouldn't get hurt?"

"Looks like I may have focused a little too hard." She said slapping her forehead.

"Well, looks like it's time for Leo to save the day. Again." He said as he pulled out a tomahawk from his tool-belt. The celestial bronze glowing faintly. He ran towards the beast, it was still focused on the Green Arrow and his friends.

"Hey, ugly!" He yelled at it, it turned his head towards Leo, snarling and showing its sharp teeth. Leo threw a fireball right at its face. The beast staggered backwards, temporarily blind. He brought down his tomahawk right on top of the beasts head. As he did he felt a sharp stabbing pain on his right arm. Out of the corner of his eye he saw that the Chimeras tail had sunk it's fangs into him. The tail actually being a snake. It pulled his arm and sent him flying straight into a wall. His weapon scattered away from him.

"Leo!"

Calypso tried to go help him but now the Chimera now stood between them. Its eyes focused on her, its tail hissing. It bared its fangs at her as if daring her to make a move. She felt something bubbling inside her. Not fear, but anger. Her heart started to pound loudly, her ears thumping from the rush of her blood through her veins.

"Touch me and I'll walk it off. Touch my man and you just decided to die."

She noticed the tomahawk right behind the Chimera. She ran right at the beast and the Chimera did the same. As it jumped right her she slid right under it. Her hand reaching for the tomahawk and grabbing it firmly from the hilt. She stood up and called out to it, "Over here, big, dark, and smelly."

It turned around, obviously very angry. Though she didn't know if it was because her name calling or because it just looked like that. It charged right her but she was ready as it leaped again to sink its teeth into her she brought the tomahawk right under its maw. Slicing its head in two.
She didn't even wait for it to turn to dust. She immediately went to check on Leo.

She knelt beside him putting her hand in his cheek. He felt cold, he was starting to shiver. "Leo, can you hear me?" Leo didn't respond, his eyes closed.

"What the hell was that?!" Said Mr.Terrific guy.

"We can figure that out later but right now we need to get wild dog back to the base." Green Arrow said as he put wild dogs arm around his shoulders so that he could lift him up. "And it looks like he could use some help too."

Calypso looked at him, she couldn't see his face. Only a mask. She didn't know if she could trust him or any of them. Then again it's her fault that his friend and Leo are hurt. Plus, she used up all the ambrosia healing Leo from his little stunt. Right now, she didn't have many options.

"Please, if you can?" Calypso said.
